i think people who claim they listen to "everything" are the real jerkoffs. 1) that's not possible. there must be something they don't like. and 2) not having a preference just means that they don't like music enough to have an opinion, so they will just listen to any garbage that comes within earshot.

I don't like rap, I think most of them don't make sense, but I think there are some good rappers.
I like this "I listen to anything I like" pretty much, and I think there are good songs in every type of music.
it's better than trying to pretend to be cool or generalize any music and not listening to other music.
many people don't have a preference , but you can't blame them for this. music is music, you think it's good then it's good.
