what lower trackers do you rate highly?

hey boys and girls, i was just wondering to myself what trackers, inparticularly the lower level trackers do you consider as a gem? in general people tend to look pass the lower level trackers and straight up to the more higher levels, but things are not as they seem once u get into the higher level trackers, so i to hear the trackers u consider as precious or great in any way :) i would probably be more interested in 0day trackers :)

/on a side note - i noticed that the icons next to the threads have changed and look more slick.. hehehe

If we look for great 0day and we don't have money to get into ScT that these r best sites :)

BCG, BTmusic, TVTorrent.com and IPT I rate high.

TL & RevTT are both boss but one i reckon is probably under-rated is Torrent Bytes. Quality tracker i think.

yea ive got both TL and tbytes, they are both quality sites :]

TL and Revtt aren't really low rated trackers.. but i have to say Revtt is a bit under rater probably should be lvl 4!

yea i was kinda referring to the lower levels such as 1-2, but any reply is good lol :]

torrentleech and torrentbytes. Very good speeds at TB.

The trackers they mention up above and you can probably throw in Torrent Damage - lower level than TL and RevTT but a decent number of torrents mixed with a good numbers of seeders/leechers.

Having said that I would hardly rate TL and RevTT as "lower trackers" though.

If we are talking about lower trackers, then it is definitely TD and TB for me. TB because of good speeds and packs, TD for overall content.

but which trackers do you think possess the full package, as including community aswell :]

I think BitSoup is a good lower level site. Most users are very happy signing up there and just using it for everything. They are open signup, easy to keep a ratio and allow nonscene stuff too if its in the proper format.
That said, I stopped using the site because I think it is insecure and I don't like the admins and the constant donation requests. But it is more secure than Demonoid and has enough to keep most people happy.

And dunson, as far as security goes, If " The Man" really wants to bust your ass It's gonna happen, weather It be a low or high level site. In my book If you are going to worry too much about It, you should quit the torrent game. Just my opinion:whistling.

I will say revtt is the most underestimated tracker .

i think that tvtorrents.com is underrated, it has a great content, the speeds aren't bad, the design of the tracker is bad but is the best tv tracker whit open sign ups

TPB, the best level 0 tracker.

Uh, the fact is the whole site was hacked at least once or twice, with an admins account getting taken over and their email system compromised...

They let in hundreds of new people a day....

To compare, my new 0day site has about 1 percent of the number of members + security measures. ;)

Which site do you mean? Not Demonoid, I know that for sure (It was shut down voluntarily and was never hacked). I don't know about the other two. All I'm saying is, any site can be hacked If someone with the skills and the will puts their mind to it (FTN for example), and if the "aa's" want to take a site down bad enough, they almost certainly will. Look at Oink. No site is completely secure.

BitSoup was hacked not long ago...

I don't like that and the lack of anonymous mode. Especially for uploaded torrents...

Yes, I agree that lower level & public sites are less secure than private sites, especially for uploading. Out of the three, Demonoid is the only one I have actually uploaded my own stuff to. But if you only use them for the occasional hard-to-find file, I think they are pretty good.
Also, for those type of sites I use throw away emails that I don't use for anything else. I know that doesn't protect you as far as ip addresses are concerned, but most of the things I download from these site are older, more obscure things that more than likely are off the aa's radar.
I guess what I'm saying is that both public/lower level sites & the higher level private sites have their pro's & con's, but If I want or need something I don't usually let security worries stop me. I might pay for it someday, but I'll deal with that when and if the time comes.:lol:

I like this little known electronic tracker called TribalMixes. Open signup, legal torrents, solid userbase. I don't use it much anymore, but I think it is worth a look if you can't get into some better house/trance sites.

Wait, how can either of you say that RevTT is "the most underestimated" tracker? It is rated a 10 (out of 10) for content, speed and pre-times. How can something with the highest possible rating be underestimated?

Anyway, TB, IPT and TVT get high marks from me.
