I haven't had much luck with the internet for the past couple of months and have only been able to manage dial up speeds. I have just prepared to download a YP vid someone sent me a link to, and go and solve fermats last theorum/cure cancer/find the unified field theory in the interim, and it downloaded straight away!

It's a pity I broke it in with a vid of a disabled man being shagged while watching his dog hump the cameramans leg. I had hoped for a more auspicious start to my new life, but beggars can't be choosers.

My interwebs connection got downgraded from 10Mbps to 1Mbps last year :emo:

It's actually working better now, though :smilie4:

It used to have the packetloss of doom 'cos most full-time tax dodgers can't keep from downloading two million torrents at once and/or keep their computers free of virii that reportedly fucked over the whole network.

I'm not actually paying anything for it, though.

What was the excuse for yours not working?

It all started when Tiscali started mucking about with it (me no know technical jargon, me just press buttons). It went dead completely for four days and then came back at dial up speed. Tiscali denied all knowledge. I moved to Eclipse and had the same problem. They said someone had me in the wrong hole in the exchange and I was getting someone else's service..that was 3 days ago and tonight it's all fixed :D.

Mind you, more scare stories in the media today about the internet breaking :fear:.
