there is a service offerd by imageshack.us, works like a seed box, but it doesnt seed a lot... actually, i downloaded a torrent with 300mb there, but it didnt seed a single mb (there was only one leecher on the torrent, besides me)... give it a try, maybe it works for you...
its 5gb space and 10gb bw a month...

ovh had a trial session for people for a year, but it was a one time thing. Get a vps from vps4less.de or a dedi from ovh, it's pretty damn cheap. I'm poor too :P
I heard ovh gave free boxes to "test" for a year to the first hundred that applied. Dont know when it happened, but its not happening anymore. (wish I would have known then)

did the trial a few years back - seems they cut it down to only 4 days now.
there are currently no free trials for seedboxes ATM. you're best bet is to get a job or if you already have one get a raise.
try torrent-invites. join them they are a great community and give away seedboxes on occasion. i just joined yesterday waiting for my membership to get approved :)
there are promotions out there if you want to whore yourself out like leave a review of the seedbox on a forum in exchange for a one month membership or lucky dip free memberships if you sign up to their mailing list (usually scams)
But man, $15 a month will get you some decent boxes, and if you can't afford that then I feel sorry for you.
