File recovery software

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for file recovery software, particularly something to recover photos lost during a windows reinstallation. Some free software on the net would be great. Thanks

I used Easeus on my XHDD a couple of months ago... it worked well, but it took ~14hrs to recover all 750GB...

I agree with snx.

I use a program called 'Active File Recovery'. Its done the trick for me a few times now.

getdata bakc is great. :)

try recuva.

i used recovery my files, i didnt like it but i dont know which is best, but photos recover more easy than other things
