for a low end desktop setup and most portable devices, flac is pointless. The only reason in either of those situations that you would want/need flac, is for the future.
Flac quality can only be appriciated with those that have the equiptment capable of playing it.
Think of it this way: Would you really need a blu-ray player if you only had an SDTV (not HD compatable)? It would be nice to have for the future, but you are really not getting anything out of having it now.
Good start but bad finish why you need to start immediatly examples. Just try to prouve Flac is better than MP3 with numbers maybe or other parametres.
BTW I am using Cowon D2 portable and have b&w 802 Nautilus connected to Meridian 501

At Pedro's or ANY TRACKER, it's important to upload your own stuff and be nice and MAKE FRIENDS. I don't think you understand that begging for invites will get you no where nor will being rude help you either.
You will not get into Pedro's like this, unless you want to donate to them. Even that, I believe you will struggle there, and judging from you comments, it seems you don't care about sharing either.
