I wish we had a feature to ignore all topics who has keys like ftn or such, would be quite handy. In this way, we wont have to see those whole requests about ftn.. If you wanna request it, ask your friend about it, this is my opinion though

Like integral said you have the option to simply ignore them . Preferable in my book to denigrating people who you probably know nothing about.

I think what makes ftn is special is different than content pretimes and so forth. It is the ideology that ftn has in my opinion, I revere their ideology honestly, It is a tracker for those who may not afford a seedbox or pay to leech etc... This is why, It must in my opinion have members who cannot afford to leech etc... How to figure whether they can pay or not is actually quite hard, I have lots of guyz who are there saying that they are trader or collector even fsc not just ftn, The main reason i wont join there is because i can pay to leech hope someone who really needs it gets it...So the only for them to leech might be ftn though there are other freeleech trackers ftn is a quite well known and said to be good etc.., Therefore begging for it is quite understandable in my opinion.
