Yerr so like the title says i got my new tattoo on thursday and its healing pretty nicely. But where the ink is there seems be a yellow tinge around it. i thought it could be bruising or something. There are a few red/purple parts that are defo bruising.
Anyone else had this before? is it normal:unsure:
Have no experience with tattooing, but that seems pretty standard?
Did you go to a proper licensed tattooer or was it some underground deal?

it was with a licensed artist, i know him. With my first tattoo it didnt do it but with this one it has, hmmm.
I'm sure it will be fine, but you should call him up and ask him. It doesn't sound infected anyway.

No, that's never happened to any of my tats. It did happen to a friend of mine. He died the very next day.

Don't worry. With this symptoms the chance to die is roughly 5%. Most likely a major part of your skin will rot off. But this can be treated fairly well from other, unaffected parts.
Ome of my ex-boyfriends (Bender, for the older crowd), had a tattoo on his ankle which got infected and all the skin fell off until he was left with half a tattoo.
he had to go back to have it redone.
it aint infected like lol, its just bruising that doesnt hurt.
Of course it does not hurt. To transmit pain you need living nerves with pain receptors. Really does not sound good. Not good at all. :D

i have loads of tats and i am a bad healer, i dont thin k it is much to worry about however make sure you clean it and a good way to keep it right is by putting vicks on it, as i said i am a bad healer and vicks does the trivk for me, but i would ask a different tattoests advice. andy
