So I guess he does get water, but 44 days without food? :blink:Quote:
He will have just a set of clothes and a blanket, no food, and will receive only water via a feeding tube. He will have pens and paper to keep a journal (perhaps to be published later) and very little else to keep his mind occupied. His bodily functions will be handled with a small backpack containing diapers and a tube to urinate in.
i must have misheard/misremembered re: water
sorry
Awww.... it's faked anyway.... always is. :rolleyes:Quote:

I like Blaine.....think he is an amazing Magi with cards coins etc.....I can do most of his stuff.....but WTF...is all this standing on sticks and getting in ice cubes?? ......It's not magic and anyone who has enough will power and is stupid enough could do it with no skill required
Me thinks one of the greatest magi's ever has finally lost the plot :(
@Titey.....He may fake this......don't see how it's possible to be without food for 44 days  .......But the previous ones he actually done.........don't need to fake them :D
Jonno B)
Can I suggest he tries one about 2m long, height about 0.5m, width varying between 0.5m at each end to a maximum of about 0.8m near one end.
It is such an obvious con, I really can't undestand why anyone bothers to take it seriously.
There is more charisma in a blancmange than there is in David Blaine.
He tries to be mysterious and succeeds only in looking stoned.
  Cool  ...........Here.....dude......pick a card......whoaaa.......you have like.......3 hands    :lol:Quote:

I was listening to the Stephen Nolan show on radio (current affairs talkback, you know it?)
Apparently Michael Stone has joined some agency where you can get him to come to your party, social gathering, whatever.
Rent-a-terrorist, man, only in Ireland.

Oh well ya gotta love ´em :D :D
It's the old bike for me, Bill.
Haven't been on one in years, though (a bike that is).
Judging by the blank expressions on the spotty teenagers' faces at the aptitude test, you know that spidey type, Bill, I'll walk the interview.
Hate to blow my own trumpet (if I could do that I'd never leave the house) but I was the best of a bad bunch. And the aptitude test was piss easy.
  :lol:Quote:

Shit man i know exactly the type, but working for Royal Mail ! F*ck me !! In that case im sure you will man, and i have seen the types in the Job Centre and at a few of my interviews. Scary to say the least. One guy at the Bru (the one time i went there and ended up walking out anyway) was told he had recieved enough, he was on the Bru was 15 years, the lady shouted over the heads of all the bums and teenagers you talk of (PMSL) - almost not funny in a way too though.
And the aptitude test!? Involved what!? Hands on handlebars or what! Let me know!
And thanks for reminding me about those types....oh i remember them with a fond hatred and laughable sympathy :D :D
Might have to go for my huge lunch soon so ill see ya around, take it easy my man, and oh yeah, one more question, would u be working mornings (shitty ass early mornings?!) or what then !?
I don't mind the mornings too much, Bill.
I've been changing shitty nappies for the last four years.
I'm well looking forward to getting TF outta here.
I'm so glad to hear from you again, mate.
Enjoy your lunch.
Don't be a stranger.

We do not recommend hanging from a crane in a small plastic box for six weeks.
This is a bit offtopic b/c it is on topic but...
David Blaine is much better doin his
street magic and acting like he is stoned
Re: "watch"
Now he is just doing stunts.
And most of the ppl watching him are
hoping he gets hurt and there is some
kind of emergency.
...so it'll be OK to do it in october then? :huh:Quote:

44 days without food is very possible. My cousin is a chyropracter and goes on fasts regularly. Generally it is 2 days a week, but a couple of months ago he went 40 days. He said it was difficult. So it is entirely possible, and if you train yourself into it, entirely healthy.
yeah, it's possible of course, however, missing out on essential vitamins/minerals/electrolytes etc can not be entirely healthyQuote:

3rd Gen, sorry about the interuption earlier in the thread.
I just don't think there's any imagination in his stunts.
It's fine to be an exibit but Eval Keneval (sp?) he ain't.
absolutely no problem at all :DQuote:

it wasn't exactly the most serious thread in the world anyway, and it's nice to see cbb back posting
That's why I suggested a different type of box.Quote:

Then we could perhaps have a little 'accident'
Sort of: 'hey guys, you forgot to burn this one'. :flame:
What I don't understand is what will happen when he needs to take a dump. Yeah there are tubes etc but isn't he in a SEETHRU glass box?
That's how he's gonna get away with not eating...........He will be fitted with a Bio-Feedback Catheter   .....with a built in blender for those lumpy bits    :lol:Quote:

It says he will be drinking water, but its probably got loads of stuff disolved in it to help him survive.
Hugo.
