It was the Mens 4 x 100M if I recall.
They not only broke the world record by like 4 or 5 seconds, but the top 5 finishers all beat the previous world record. :O
I did see that; it was absolutely amazing. By the way, Phelps just won gold in another event! 3/3 so far, 5 more to go!

Lol, this guy is insane. 5/5 so far - new world records in every race. It now seems inevitable that he'll get 8. How can he be THAT much better than anyone else in the world?
We'll, he's half way to 8 so I think it's very possible he can get that many.
He's 5 for 5 thus far and has just become the most decorated Olympic athlete. Still 3 events to go too.
He's destroying old world records, some of which are his own. He just shattered the old world record in the 800M by almost 5 seconds and it was his own time.

i know its well after the Olympics now but the Para Olympics have just finished and there too just about every race beat the Worlds record...even the losers were beating national records.There was either something in the water.....or maybe the were swimming downhill!
