OK, there are a billion and one general purpose trackers. Most of which we all agree are unneeded wastes.
The idea of a comedy tracker has floated around a bit and that sounds pretty cool. What other niche trackers would you like to see created? Political, big boobs, cooking, technology, etc.
TV DVDRs of course, one day I will get round to creating ITN just for that purpose, but I have neither the drive nor the expertise to make it happen.
Maybe I should do an ad here for staff & members :lol:

Seriously now... I think th0rīs idea was very good, unfortunately he did not try to do it, he explained his reasons.
That would be the only tracker I think could succeed: comedy tracker... I have no idea what other type could... the thing with specialized trackers is that there are already almost of every type, and the others... well, I think it would not be easy to have a wide variety of stuff. :huh:
No one really needs a sub niche site. A private anime tracker would be great; one that has in-house subbers, rippers, encoders etc, and not just uploading from other groups from Rizon or wherever, sort of like HDBits. If I want Comedy, I will go to Goem or a gazelle-based tv/movie tracker and click on the comedy category. ;) So no need for that at all.Quote:

Yea, they are at some trackers but no dedicated for this one. I remember being told there was an old tracker but it got taken down so a private dedicated comic tracker ftw!

one specialized tracker is missing in bittorrent, that is, Information and Technology related, bcoz u cant find many things related to this in many general purpose trackers.
just like the thevault grew up for economics-purpose only tracker, there is huge need of this type of trackers having all the IT related stuff.
A magazine torrent tracker, with all types of magazines scans and all issues haha.

-a really good audiobook/ebook dedicated tracker. lots of fiction and nonfiction. There are some ebook trackers, but there's never enough novels on them. Gazelle would be really nice with it because of the groups - you could grab the audiobook and ebook at the same time without a lot of searching.

just another thought to throw out there - I'd really love to see some of the really good dedicated trackers that are around now incorporate Gazelle. for instance, now that BrokenStones is back (and torrents were started from scratch), I think the newer Mac trackers have a little bit of edge over it and a big reason is because they're using Gazelle.

If a movie tracker would implement Gazelle, you could use actors as tags and do that. It would be really nice. But it would take a lot of work from people uploading or people just adding more info. Technically, ANY movie tracker with tags could do it, but there really isn't as much community editing on those trackers as far as adding tags.Quote:

i just want to make something clear, they are not just giving gazelle to anyone, well i have never even seen the code and i did ask to have a look at it awhile ago.
so for us anyway, no way for us to put it on, if we have never seen the code, or been offered it.
hopefully in a month or 2, when it goes proper, then we can have a look, but we do have a lot of mods on that may be hard to put on gazelle, but on the other hand they may be easy.
so just watch this space, i just hate it when i hear members say, why have trackers not switched over, well we might if we had the chance lol
well i would like a nice Literature tracker with all the most famous, wanted books from around the world in almost lagauges in the world. i know it sounds impossible..but gwhen tracker become popular it will happen[books from different languages]..its for everybody..not just for me..as i dont even have a f**king idea about how many languages are there in the world in which books are written
And my great wish for an pure Amateur video tracker with high qaulity only videos including HD..
