For no apparent reason, everytime I stay for more than half an hour on this forum, all the links I click just bring me straight to a HTTP 403 Forbidden Page...
Anyone knows why?!

Havent had that happen. Perhaps try a different browser to test if it happens on it also..

Yep happens here also but mainly when I have a heavy download and upload strain on my connection.
If your bandwidth is being used strongly, it's kinda normal for it to go like that.
but not for me when there is nothing else running in the background...
Doesn't the staff have any ideas to where the problem might be coming from ?!

We can all seee there's a few guys to who this happens, I guess it'll be nice to hear some of the FST staff tell us why? Even if it's saying "We don't know what the problem is..."
It doesn't happen to us. That means it isn't the forum that's fucking up, it's something on your end. Sort it out.Quote:

Once you've refreshed a few too many times per second (like say you load a few pages at once in multiple tabs in your browser) the server will put you on a blacklist and then watch your behavior and if you repeatedly do that you start getting forbidden messages for different files you try to laod from teh server...images, js, css, pages, etc...
Nothing we can do about it unfortunately because if we don't have it it will let in DDoS attacks, and the alternative is too expensive...

I have it got it many times. Not lately though. There have been days where I have got it like 10 times in a day. Usually I'll just try later.
Just wanted to say haven't been on this board for a while, logged on today, won't let me access any of the sub forums except this one and the drawing room. I get the forbidden access msg if I click on anything else....and it's not like I was logged on for 20-30 min, I just logged on too
anywho, throwing that out there for the mods.
