When do you think utorrent 1.8 will be stable like 1.7 and be accepted by every site

I like the whole new design

I like the new icon

New features

I wish every tracker will accept them soon

some use too but now all roll back to 1.7

So what do you think ?

In which tracker 1.8 is not accepted?!

from what i have seem

some tracker only accepted

uTorrent 1.8 Build 11813(example only)

and not accept

uTorrent 1.8.1 Beta 11962,uTorrent 1.8.1 Beta 11903,uTorrent 1.8.1 Beta 11882,uTorrent 1.8 Build 11758(example only)

do you get what i mean ?

if you are going to accept 1 beta,why not accept everyone one of them

they are all 1.8

uTorrent 1.8 does'nt give any useable pros against 1.7 exept a new design and "cool" icon.
I don't really care when it'll be stable and acceptable at all trackers and I dont think anyone knows.

Actually they are not all the same as you believe mate. Beta versions tend to be unstable and hence they are not accepted anywhere (or at least I haven't seen a tracker accepting beta versions).

Personally I feel uTorrent should have stopped at 1.6.1 as all the versions since then have been a disaster. The new 1.8 to me seems slower on torrent starting then 1.7.7. In addition to that there are other features I simply don't like.

can you name the tracker you have

I don´t know and I don´t care. I installed 1.8 and it was an absolute disaster, I went back to 1.7.7, and won´t change it until be mandatory in my trackers.

if i'm downloading from one tracker at max speeds with 1.7.7, then i exit, wait an hour or so, switch to 1.8 and start downloading a 10KB/s, who's fault is it then? tell me.

I have a complain with 1.8, it takes longer to connect to seeds it seems. So you don't just max your connection right away on some trackers even if they have lots of seeders and they also grayed out the option to manually update to get connected to some more seeds.

i think it will b. but it will take time.

Disable windows caching of disk reads.
Disable windows caching of disk writes.
Install ipv6/teredo.

I love utorrent 1.6.1

But the problem is, you can't use it at Waffles or TTi.. :(

i also had some problem with 1.8, and then i had retuned to 1.7.
but now i use 1.8.1 without any problems.
btw, i installed the patch file of utorrent for xp. i wonder if it really works.

I use 1.8.1 with xp pro sp3 + patch and it works, it really does work. User's connect within seconds and you max your line out within a few seconds or less

I have not been using 1.8 simply because it annoys the shit out of me that I can't manually update the tracker. I do not abuse that feature! However, it definitely comes in handy sometimes!

I applied that patch but if I go to help > show statistics, utorrent usually only lists about 2 or 3 half-open connections.
