i cant really say what or waffles independently because the two sites complement each other nicely they both have their faults and benefits
What is like a masive music warehouse, where you can get what you want in the size you want. That's why I prefer Waffles, it's got a great community and more obscure stuff.

I think you'll be pleased if you get one or two of what.cd and waffles. I just got into what.cd and to be honest... my expectations were high. But what.cd is better than that. :)
I've read somewhere what.cd is easer to seed than waffles but I wouldn't know.
And by the way, isn't there loads of threads about this already if you search a bit?
What.cd has 20,000 more users than Waffles and this makes quite a difference in activity of their torrents. Waffles community is maybe more tight, but I prefer the larger size of what.

I would say Waffles but for whatever reason, I found my account was deactivated a month ago or so. I'm guessing it's because I've been working overseas and my PC back home died preventing me from continuing to keep the account alive by seeding. By the time I remembered to log into my account, I found I could not get in. No email warning, nothing and this is from someone who donated at the very beginning to help finance the purchase of their first beefy server to do the job after Oink got shutdown.
Yeah, I'm feeling a little bitter about it. :)

EDIT: Actually, yoump3 seems like a descent site. They have a lot that I have searched. If all I'm wanting is to throw mp3's on my mp3 player I would rather download from there than What/Waffles.
