I just did the exact same thing got all of Heroes and I'm on season 2 now
should be caught up by next week.

Great show/series. Hard to follow if you do not see all the episodes from episode 1. A lot of characters!
Season 1 was great, but it went to shit after that. Don't bother.

While it's true that overall Heroes doesn't match Lost, there still are parts of it I could see myself getting behind.

And @chalice and with all due respect to Our Heavenly Mother- I would take the first season of Heroes over the season 2 of Lost any day of the week.
I loved season 2 of Lost.
It's quite apparent that Cuse and Lindelof were floundering to some degree but I think they pulled it off. We got the introduction of Ben (what a fan-fucking-tastic character) and Desmond and the finalé was a masterstroke imo.
Smoke monstery, Michael going physcho, flashblacks intermeshing, 'the numbers are bad'. No Boone (yay), Shannon getting stiffed. Mister Eko, the tail section. Fuck sake, it rawked.
I like heroes but it started to drag from roundabout episode 18 of season 1. Don't get me wrong, it's still a superior show and I haven't missed an episode but I wanted to put my boot through the TV when Peter Petrelli wound up in Cork a the start of season 2. Man, that season was pure wank. And there's no excuse. Lost managed to pull off it's best season yet, even being limited to the writer's strike but Heroes nosedived to fuck.
It's starting to turn itself around but fuck me, like, Milo whatizname is probably the worst actor ever. Yes, even worse than Kneau fucking Reeves. That Future Peter rough voice thing makes me want to stab myself in the ear with a knitting needle. What the fuck!! Who does he think he is, Batman? Your voice couldn't get that fucked up in 4 years unless your larynx was kicked about by pigs for several weeks.

I've always thought that Heroes was a show that's only gotten by on it's premise and potential that it's premise has. Unfortunately, I don't think this show is ever going to live up to it's hype. I'm only watching it to provide moral support to my my two beautiful wives, Hayden and Kristin ;)
I still think heroes is great. Season 2 was not very good, but season 3 is great until now. But I would recommend to anybody who can wait, to wait until the season has ended and to watch all episodes at once!

Okay guys thanks for the info! Right now I have still to start watching season 1......but am going to get right on it. I am going to start to watch the series called Crash! There is only 2 episodes so far but I loved the movie, so I am hoping this series is good

PB S3 is shitty but is catching up in S4,
Heroes is getting worse at beginning of S3 but becoming interesting now.

I loved the Heroes season one. I will watch the second soon on DVD. I hope I will not be disappointed.
Jumping on the bandwagon, Heroes is terrible after S01.
Heroes doesn't have very good writers so while the premise is good the show isn't any more. Hopefully, Tim Kring will realize that he can't write sci-fi and hire some permanent writers for the show.

Where did you hear the show has been cut?? There is a new episode scheduled for Monday Nov 10! I hope there not cutting the show! I"m loving it.......but I doubt that is true concidering it has really good ratings!
Alexander and Jeph Loebhe , two of the producers, who have been on board since the beginning, have been sacked. Ubisoft has axed plans for a Heroes game. But I haven't heard that the show has been cancelled.
Heroes does not have "really good ratings".
Anywhere you look, you'll find an article or three about the failing show.

Well I hope the ratings get up there and the show stays atleast for one more season! I just finished watching it right from season 1 and think it is a great show! I mean yeah it has its slow times but all in all I think things have picked up within the last couple episodes!
The show got really bad in season 2, I can't get past the 6th ep...
I've tried and tried and can't get back into this show.
I think that might be the exact episode I stopped on as well. I watched S01 as it aired and loved it, but S02 was just plain awful in my opinion.
Reading threads like this one, I always had the impression that the show hadn't done any better so I never picked it up again. Judging from the ratings and the abundance of viewers abandoning ship, I'd say I haven't missed anything.
