Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Fantastic tonight. The bloke who wasn't Rusell Brand was my favourite.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I should probably have waited for it to finish before I posted that.

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Simon Amstell > Mark Lamarr.
Consistent fact. He's one funny wee fucker.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I agree
He also clearly improvises more. If the guests take him on they invariably lose.
I wasn't really very familiar with his work before this.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I love Simon Amstell. I only found out he was gay a few months ago and I was truly heart broken
That Greer woman is well funny as well! Anyone watching 8 out of 10 cats later on tonight?
edit: Was Amstell not on T4 before he started doing Buzzcocks?

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Interesting how.
Ah, topicality.
Gotcha.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Yep Skweeks, Amstell used to do Popworld on E4. He was funny then but he has come on in leaps and bounds since he started doing Buzzcocks.
I never knew he was gay, btw. Now that I think about it, why didn't I?

I dunno... once you know about it is rather obvious. I reckon it's because he's not yer typical gay and he flirts with the wimmin. I found out on the episode where they had John Barrowman as a guest. Get that one somewhere if you can, it was tv gold.

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
'Let's have a gay off. Hands on the table aaaaand... pout'
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Best episode ever is the one with Noel Fielding and Donnie Tourette. I was actually in tears when I watched that one.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
:lol::earl:
I remember that.
EDIT - The Gay Off.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
'That's it! From now on we're only have straights and lesbians on the show'

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I'm sure he makes a load of it up as he goes along. I know there's themes he's going to work with but I think it's only ideas which he fills out.
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I think he lost some of his touch with his hair though :(
He's like Samson :o

Oh for heaven's sake. Everyone knows that Samson was a Zealot, who believed that their strength was in their hair. Hence the myth.

I know that. You know that. Skweeks knows that.
Does Old Geezer know that? Does Allen know that? Does most of the other mongs know that?
They do now. Cos you've just explained it to them.
Which is quite unlike you tbh.

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Stop giving away valuable information like this. Some of them might get some of the inside jokes and then what will happen?
You go and sit in the corner and consider the consequences of your actions, young man
'I would like to resign'

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
Saw Simon the other night with Jermaine Jackson on. It was the way he said so gently that it was OK to change from JW to Muslim because they are both right - even Jermaine laughed.

Saw that too. He was on about Jermaine marrying his brother's ex-wife and having kids with her. Then he goes, 'what about Michael, has he ever done anything weird?'

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
I don't care what anyone says. That bit in Russell Brand's Ponderland about the woman who was having sex with the dog and grooming her pony (true story) was hilarious!
Did you ever see the Buzzcocks with Amy Winehouse?

I chuckled when he recommended just say no no no

Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
The one with Donnie Tourette:
'I would just like to explain to everyone; Donnie is a punk'
-
Re: Never Mind The Buzzcocks
He is harsh but very fair :shifty:
