Test If Your ISP Messes With Bittorrent Traffic
I'm stealing this from a mate via a private forum. Good stuff and thought I would share it!
Not sure if this link has done the rounds but its certainly the first time I have seen it.

Checks whether they block your torrent connections with Sandvine etc.
My test came back clean unlike the one at my probation office a few years ago...

Network Timeout:
The server at glasnost.karrenberg.net is taking too long to respond.
I guess the server is busy right now. Will try it later on...
Thanks...
Re: Test If Your ISP Messes With Bittorrent Traffic

Aww I'm getting the same thing. I already know that i'm throttled big time. But hey, I currently am running a 3rd party firmware to bypass throttling via MLPPP, just wanted to see if the site would detect it as NOT being throttled. :whistling

Re: Test If Your ISP Messes With Bittorrent Traffic
Is TCP traffic on a well-known BitTorrent port (6881) throttled?
http://139.19.152.18//bb//pics/square.png There's no indication that your ISP rate limits all downloads at port 6881. In our test, a TCP download on a BitTorrent port achieved at least 163 Kbps while a TCP download on a non-BitTorrent port achieved at least 194 Kbps. You can find details here.
http://139.19.152.18//bb//pics/square.png Your ISP possibly rate limits all uploads at port 6881. In our test, a TCP upload on a BitTorrent port achieved at least 29 Kbps while a TCP upload on a non-BitTorrent port achieved at least 83 Kbps. You can find details here.
Time to switch to a differnt port.
