i got spotify inv and i would like to know how to sign up because my country is not at the list at the moment . so if any info abut the proxy and how and what sites i should use .

I used http://defilter.co.uk/ you can signup fine but you cannot download the app because it's 1.4 MB and Defilter only lets you DL 1MB so after you sign up just go to the download page and download it without the proxy :)
Also you will need a UK postal code here are some:
- SW1A 0AA -
- SW1A 0PW -
- SW1A 1AA -
- SW1A 2AA -
- SW1A 2AB -
- SW1A 2HQ -
- W1A 1AA -
- W1A 1AB -

Also, after 14 days of logging in from outside of your registered country, you will be locked out of your spotify account, unless you login with a UK proxy (IP:Port format, not the defilter web proxy) and sometimes it can be hard to find such a working proxy.
If you have an OVH seedbox, you can do what I did. Register for Spotify on your OVH box. Since OVH is based in France, an allowed country, you can register easily, and will never need to look for a proxy. :D
Hmm, didn't know france was allowed by spotify. I'll have to look into this.

Code:1. Go to "http://2proxy.info/"
2. Enter "http://www.spotify.com" as Website URL then click Browse
3. It will ask for an invite token, enter [INVITE CODE HERE] as your invite token
a. Register with username and password of choice,
b. Choose b-day
c. Enter "DE22 3FS" as postal code
4. Download the program (Mac or Windows or Both)
5. Start the program, Login with the username and password you created
6. In the program click Edit>Preferences
7. Pick HTTPS Proxy and enter "87.86.13.29" port 80
Do we have to enter the Proxy address?
I didn't do that but still can use it as usual.

EDIT: Dec 08/08 - It appears that UK proxies are now being blocked. I just tried a Polish Proxy, and it worked: http://secretproxy.pl, or try one from THIS LIST.
from UK proxies it says "Cannot Connect to the Host" :cry:

Hotshot, my advice to you is to read through the thread. Your question has basically been answered.
I guess Spotify changed something in the system, cause even after loging in through a working proxy I still can't use service. I get a warning, when I start the app. It says that actual country and country in the profile do not match.
Any ideas? :-|
P.S. was forced to create a new account and it works fine. Now I listen to Spotify via proxy.

anyone have any luck with the "getting someone to sign in from the uk" thing, would be well easy for me and I wouldn't have to go pissing about with proxy servers.
