I was wondering if the rule of only swedish ip's still exists for registering at the site. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
I download heavily in dvdr format and have made great use of my thedvdclub acc. but am looking for something with more content but if i cannot register there i guess its impossible.
I know a bunch of people who use the site and don't live in sweden. I don't think they use proxy or anything. Some might dl via a server and ftp to their home though. You should be ok afaik, but there are some precautions you could take.
No. They do not accept any new users with non-local IPs. It's a local plaice for local people.
use norbits they are more open minded
registering at swedvdr without being scandianvian is like playin russian roulette, it's at your own risk.
They only allow Nordic IPs. Anyway, register with nordic proxy and from then only dl/ul from a server. Or get a nordic guy to signup for you ;)
That should work, but there is always a chance that you will get banned. If you cant get into swedvdr, i would recommend Swebits, because they are great too! :)
swedvdr are a swedish site and i think it's for swedish members only.
I got invite there but after i sign up my account disabled
they only need nordic
the site is nothing to have if you not are swedish, i can say

They expect you to be able to read the language. BTW invites are closed, so you have plenty of time to get familiar with it.

i had an account there for a couple of years and it worked great.
one day i lost my invites and they told me that only swedish ips have invites enabled.
then about 6 months later it got disabled since i wasnt swedish.
not very nice but what r u gonna do.
my point is even if u do get an account, if they have nothing better to do they might just delete it.
heavy dvd downloader? try swebits.org, almost always opened for signups.
swedvdr staff is vicious: they wait you to build a nice buffer and once you've well-contributed to the site traffic, they ban you.
