OVH is not really unmetered. I would suggest you keyweb or hosting IE...
OVH to OVH is only 1 GBPS ovh to Internet is 100 mbps.. So unless your swarm is inside OVH's datacenter you won't get 1 gbps.
looks like my otions will be keyweb or hosting IE then, thanks for heads up on the OVH being only gigabit on "internal traffic"
ovh gbit only helpful on scc/sct and no where else.. hostingie wud be good on most sites as it can stretch beyond 11-12MB i guess
hostingie is keyweb reseller who hunts down seedboxes with predudice
I also hear their network is crap and speeds suck (they are hosted ingermany)
A real gigabit unmetered costs about 800 euro and up / month (as your talking 330,000 GB of xfer in one dirrection :P)
You can get a gigabit server with 2 500gb disks a dual core proc, 2gb ram and I think 2x100mbit connection with 5TB bw from i3d (nl) for 99 euro
it might only be 1x100mbit but i think if thats the case the seccond 100mbit is 10 euro/month and upgrade from 100 to 1000 is 15 euro/month
To max out a gigabit you need about 3-4 10K rpm raptors in hardware raid 0 (but the r200 chasis can only take 2 drives)
I have 2 raptors in raid 0 (600gb total) and my max speed seeding a pack both at scc and sct at once was 75MB/s (ovh boxes with like 6 drives or 2 ssds have gone up to full gigbait due to so many ovh boxes)
sO if your using 2 regular disks dual 100mbit might be your best bet (max speed woulld be 22MB/s) which you can't expect much more from 2 regular disks in sw raid 0

they dont hunt down seedboxes, as the user says above, Ive been using them for months and months. Keyweb does hunt them down, but not hosting-ie. Their speeds are fast as OVH and unmetered (im sure if you used like 30TB they may say something)

they do shared Gbit connections it is not a dedicated one !
But speed you will get on it is still amassing.
I'm having 20-40 MB some times, but of course it is nto recomended to keep it that hight constantly if you knwo what I mean :)
the 800 euro per month is for the dedicated Connection as far i know
that is the connection used by rapidshare.de and similar, directly connected to internet, So if you buy it you have to earn as much rapidshare earns from the servers :)
