I really never rate a tracker. I take it for what it is and try to make the best of it. I enjoy every single one i have seen so far. :yes:

The thing is that I ve heard good things about ITS lately... I will probably do something never seen before here(at least by me) and request an invite. IPT is a great tracker... its got everything a good user can wish from a good 0day tracker.
Now, after I ve rechecked the wtaw thread I ve realised that the leveling its made 1st of all by the rarity of their invites, and not judging by their content or/and comunity.
I always loved docs.torrents.ro... and its lvl 1. Its got everything I need and the comunity in grate. I ve just seen that there a a few lvl 3 trackers where I ve not signed up for ages and I ve probably got disabled long time ago. About the trackers >lvl 8 I dont even know how to call them...we just stick to the ****.
Looking into p2p world thru wtaw thread is totaly wrong and will turn any good user into a trader in seconds. You dont "need" a tracker! You need its content or /and its comunity.
To the OP: Do we really need to answer the same questions every month? Or this thread is for the users that signed up after the New Year?

iTS is only high on the WTAW thread just because the admin is good friends with the FST staff.
You can go else where and ask opinion about iTS and they will all tell you iTS is garbage.

Its really down to personal preference though imo.
i dont really know for overrated, but for underated i would definitly say SCC, no one seems to think it is any good simply because it has a low "level"

Cinemageddon - Imagine a level 1 tracker...always open. And yet, it may well be the best tracker on the net. Specialized, but the content is second to none in the area it covers. Easy as hell to seed and accordingly keep a good ratio. This means actually being able to download what you want, not just ratio-boosting nonsense. The custom subs, the request filling, and the community are also quite nice. The latter is especially helpful in terms of getting invites to other communities. Places like SC, KG, THC, and What are always available, and often times so are other more "exclusive" trackers like Waffles, ScL, iTS, ect.
Demonoid - Yes it is often open for registration and there are no ratio rules. But as far as private trackers go, this is place everybody checks when their main trackers are missing whatever it is they're searching for. It is a good "filling the wholes" tracker.
iTS - I've defended it before, and I'll continue to do so. A great collection system, tons of (relative to size) AFR rips, a nice community, no ratio, and a fantastic competition going on right now.
ScL - Okay, it doesn't have the pres of SCC, or the variety of content that IPT does. But the pres are getting much better and the selection is fine if you have an addition 0day tracker you can use to pick up the slack. They have a nice community with an excellent porn forum, some nice competitions, and good means of building a ratio buffer (packs, music,and archived torrents). One of the better looking trackers too.
Overrated:
TehConnection - Nice design, but nothing special. The rare movies are more easily found elsewhere, and the mainstream stuff is everywhere else too.
Otherwise, I'm not too certain. I mean there are a number of trackers I've either joined or been invited to that weren't all that impressive. But since many of them weren't particularly hyped up, it is hard to accuse them of being overrated.

Actually that's not at all why. I used to be in iTS. Was never really interested about the tracker and the account died without me even realizing.
When i say iTS sucks, I'm saying it from experience not because I'm hearing it from other people.
And my post history in fst has not stopped me at all from getting where i want to be at. You on the other hand might have to get your lips a little wet to get in some certain trackers.....hahah

I assume the rarity 'ratings' are accurate so I won't comment on those..
As for the general perception of how good certain trackers are.. I would say the most overrated:
SCT - the pretimes have fallen off big time recently but even before that I saw myself using other trackers for general content (TL) (it's still a very good site.. just the perception - reality is very very big)
Most underrated I would have to say is:
what.cd - the content on this site is the best for what it's offering
(music, apps and ebooks) but I don't really see many people saying good things about this site

As for the underrated/overrated thing, I think it comes down to each person's preference. I don't think either iTs or ScT are overrated. Also I don't see how TC can be overrated, I mean who ever said that TC was just so great, when they were in the process of changing the tracker for many months.
I think What is overrated when it comes to being recommended in every single thread about music. I find lots of stuff elsewhere, which is not on What.CD... or at least not in the quality I want.
Overrated = every tracker in the WTAW, what some people will do to get into them is silly.
Underrated = none, if they want members they will get them, if they dont they wont, if you like it you like it, if you dont, well then you dont.
