Bittorrent Experimental Client
I'm downloading Warcraft 3 off it at 38kb/s... not to bad for bittorrent ;)
what do you mean "downloads right away"??
bt always does, surely??
and there are a load of bt clients: atm im using NovaTorrent, whihc is pretty good...all the dls in one window :)
Looks likt it just displays a lot more infor, and allows some bandwidth control. Both of those are really nice features, but should have absolutely no effect on it's ability to download files.
I use the original BT, and I got nearly 100kb/s once; 70kb/s another time.
can this hide in the place that kazaa hides in after u close it?
shadows experimental is better
i used to use this experimental client a while ago
it uses too much resources on my system
you should look into axureus, it's faster than the experimental client (for me (mainly cos nowe i have adsl  )) and it shows more detailed information than any other client i've used
Hey noob, how is the fast internet connection?Quote:

the best thing about it is being able to effectively stream 2 192k tracks at once, while uploading at 15kB/sec and still surfing faster than 56k :D
@callum, yeah, i meant azureus...typo i forgot to fix :">
By the way noob, out of curiosity, how much does it cost and what is your bandwidth?
I here, in Los Angeles, Ca. pay $50 US every month for 1500 kb/sec down and 168 kb/sec up; I hear that that is really good and the reason for such heavy bandwidth is because LA is a major metropolitan area.
I'm with a company called Pipex (uk based)
on their solo2go service, there was a setup fee of £17.59 (about $30, i think), for which i got an alcatel 330 speed touch modem and two microfilters
the actual service is rated at 512k down and 256k up and is costing £23.44 a month (about $40, i think)
it's great value for money, considering the binary newsgroup support, a list of which can be found here
also, there are no download/upload caps, so theoretically, i can dl til my heart's content :D
Are you guys just discovering Bittorrent for the first time..
If you like it so much maybe you should join the Bittorrent forum in my sig.
Its a private tracker devoted to the exclusive use for KLITE board members.
A great group of members and I made it so we could share all our new and rare files with each other at top speeds.
Simply because you all know how difficult it is to connect and get great speeds when posting hashes in the movie section. Will allmost never connect.
A few of the members that helped make it possible include; NotoriousBic ,Wizzandabe,LINDOREZ,Ugluk,RAZZ,yyiryyib, and myself.
We have a great core of members come by and take a look.
personally i've used bitt on and off for quite a long time
the problem in the past was that i was on 56k, so i limited myself to small downloads (less than 10 meg)
not that i'm on adsl, i can download much bigger files...
i'm gonna take a look at that forum though, sounds good...
Welcome to FastTracker 3rd gen noob, your our newest member.
