Kind and rather lenghty request v2 (FTN)! (or SCC)

Hello again!

As you probably saw I have requested ScT invitation. Apparently Poland is banned there so I'm trying to find something different. I was thinking and browsing FST to see what would suit my needs and capabilities and came across FTN reviews and rankings.

So, therefore, I would like to ask if anyone is kind enough to pass me an FTN invitation. I understand that I'm not very well known member here on FST but shall it not be a reason to close this window. I can proove myself in many ways, let this short text be an introduction.

Let me start off with a little bit of history... 8 years ago I've wondered - Where all the warez comes from? I've been using P2P networks, mainly eMule and I couldn't believe that it's just being shared, cracked, ripped by a "normal" person. I've been searching through Internet. It wasn't easy because Google wasn't so popular and good and such knowledge wasn't on wikipedia. I somehow managed to get on to file-sharing forums called Area-51. Then I've got told what the scene is and started to play around with scanning/hacking my own stros for Area-51. I've got good at it and was supplied by FTPs with scene content (shite 1hour+ pre time but still). Then I've got myself invited to one noob-ish 10mbit site rin.g
and it all went easy from that point untill... I stopped FXPing because of university and lack of time. Being a courier takes heaps of time. After this break I've lost all access except one site-ring where I became siteop. So I started to look for good alternatives with decent speeds, pre-times and with members-oriented content (like packs, older stuff etc...) I could easily google that private trackers is the place for me. Got myself decent 10/10mbit connection and tried my luck here and there...

After 4 years of torrenting I'm actively looking for a site where I could find quality scene content. And by quality I mean all the scene stuff plus content packs. Scene trackers I am member of always lack something, like missing out major releases because of the uploaders sleeping. Bah... This forces me to use multiple trackers which is definately not for my taste. I prefer to be dedicated member of a single tracker instead of several. FTN seems like a perfect choice, tailored just for my needs.

I have the feeling that contributing to an arleady awesome tracker is very hard. The most valuable asset to such tracker from Administrators point-of-view would be a loyal member which actually downloads and uploads things. I will certainly live up to this with my capabilities (10/10 connection + a seedbox if neccesary, 100mbit for power-sharing on big releases). I will share my thoughts and give a hand on the forums hapilly too. As you can see - I'm a bit of a talkative person ;-) I've got used to IRC by all these years in core FXP scene. I will certainly sit there and talk a lot. I can help with some scripting too if anyone needs that.

I saw and got told that getting FTN invitation is insanely hard. Thus I would like to say that I'm interested in SCC or any other 0-day tracker with good download speed and content.

Why are you so interesting in getting into trackers with good download speed when you have average speed at home?
I mean, i would have understood it if you had blistering speed at home and want to take full advantage of your line.
I think IPTorrents is a great site for you, both contents and speed. Remember, you only have 24 posts in 8-9 months.

My connection at home is 10/10, it just won't go faster now. Gotta call them tommorow :-)

And the exact reason why I would like blistering speed is that I have access (at my university, 24/7) to 1Gbit internet. I go there every day and I will continue to do so for 3 or 4 years. I plug in to ethernet and I can do whathever I want to. Can provide speedtest from there too, but not today. That, decent home upload and 100mbit seedbox which I can use really delivers.

Other reasons why I want these trackers are mentioned in the application post.

btw, I can't seem to find any comprehensive info on IPTorrents, could you be more descriptive please?

As of download habits - I am member of What.CD so there is no need for anything music-related. For Movies and TV-Shows I have bit-hdtv which offers great speed and custom encodes which suit all my movie needs. Maybe except older movies packed in one torrent, like I saw on these screenshots from FTN (like Al Pacino pack etc). So all I really need now is proper 0-day, scene tracker with great speed and no miss-outs on major releases. I grab PC games, almost all of them, bigger apps, some TV-Shows that I watch on my laptop (so no need for HD) and so on.

Honestly requesting FTN is pointless and I don't have any SCC invs left.

I really don't know why you are so sarcastic Cabalo. I just try to aim for the highest one knowing that I will be good member. If that priviledge or luck is not on my side - I'll certainly use the opportunity to join these, you have mentioned.

There is no need to link-back the topic I have posted before, since I have arleady did in my first post. I follow peoples advice and therefore try to ask for other trackers - one which is let's say as hard to get as ScT (FTN) and other one which is supposedely easier. What's wrong with that? :)

Besides - I don't know anything about suggested IPTorrents. It's not on any stickied list, people mention it but they are not descriptive enough to get me hooked on. Maybe you can englighten the situation a bit and write short review of that certain tracker. It wil certainly help, not only me but many.

IPT is a awesome tracker and perhaps you never have heard about it because is low level, but it is worth taking a look... opensignups are closed now, but is not hard to get an invite.

OP, you should be less ambitious and more flexible at the beginning... you are only giving rope to hang yourself, if continue with this type of behavior... I do not think it was very smart to jump from a Sct req to a FTN one :no: this only makes the others think that you care only about the level.

scc is a good choice, fast, and not that hard to get.

I would defintely think about accepting an IPT invite. The site is a gold mine. It has a shit load of content, excellent speeds, descent pre's, a good request section, and active forums.

People might think like that but if they read carefully they shouldn't really. You just assumed that I'm looking through trackers by level. I am the begginer in the Torrent world (well, after 4 years I dunno if I should say that) but I still fail to see whats wrong in asking. Maybe there is someone which can take the risk? Requesting both ScT and FTN is maybe a bit greedy for some but many are just curious and they tend to rant/think about the person like if he is caring only about level. I am not. I requested FTN after ScT only because of the fact that I live in Poland and ScT have it banned.
I care about content and speed. Elitism is what most of the people look for. Ofcourse I am curious how is it inside FTN/ScT, obviously I would like the best but like I arleady said - I will settle for less. I get that maybe luck is not on my side, maybe I don't have enough posts here or maybe I don't comply with strict behavioral rules set by some and I look like an greedy asshole to them. Just whatever guys :) I was born and raised in the world where warez was not only private but indeed available to the selected few. I liked the feeling of being the one and I will continue to strive to the best.

You are the first one which actually described IPT. These old reviews posted above are really old and not descriptive enough. They don't say anything about the content or speed at all. I asked one guy if he could invite me there, no response yet though.

now i ask you one thing: what have you done to this community to deserve such an elite invite? why are you better than the countless other users requesting the same invites after being members here a lot of time, inviting people, sharing seedboxes etc etc?

Ok wzmacniacz, if you can pm me two profile links, and I like what I see, then I'll invite you to IPT. Some of the douchebags around here throw away IPT invites like they're nothing, but I actually like to know a little about the person before I invite them.

In fact, since you seem like such an honest person, and if I like your profiles, I'll offer you two invites. You can pick between IPT or TL. Both offer the same type of content, which is 0day/general. But personally, I think IPT is the superior site since most of the time it has faster pre's, a shit load more content, and actually has a community to it. But most people seem to cream their jeans over TL, so I'll let you choose between the two. But only...if I like your profiles.

I've sent him an IPT invite as he has requested one from me through PM.

I hope he won't try to do anything funny, from what he wants I'm sure it can be found on IPT too.

People always tend to think rarity levels = best.

IPTorrents is alot more practical if you don't have a seedbox, most of the people on SCC/ScT/FTN are seedboxers.

And besides, IPTorrents is really easy to seed on with the bonus points and freeleech.

I'd dub it as the next TL without the cheap VIP low ratio no ban system anytime.

ScT/Scc has archive/Packs section from which u can easily upload a lot .. Even with a 1mbit home connection u can atleast upload 3-4gb easily everyday .. Obs ppl just Equate Scc/ScT with seedbox only .. Plus the packs are actually awesome as u can find virually all the popular stuff on them and its free ..

And yeah Anistoned, didn't you know that if a tracker isn't listed as a "level 7-10"(which means rare) then that tracker is complete crap? I'm surprised apex had to explain that to you. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I understand all these points except the one why someone wouldn't like a BTRep point :ermm:
And let me say something about IPT. It is indeed awesome in terms of speed (got 7MB/s earlier), all scene (and non-scene too) movies are indeed there, trailer feature is good for sure, descriptions are good too (with screenies from the rip) but ... they lack stuff from other categories. There was a game release from major group (War Leaders Clash Of Nations - Razor1911) and they don't have it. It is few hours after the pre arleady. I doubt that anyone will upload it and even if someone does - the speed will be low. The amount of seeders and speed on the games is just average too. I am forced to use different tracker to get that and that's what annoys me. I'm not complaining, I'm happy with the invitation I got and it's certainly better than anything I've had in the past. But having to switch from one tracker to another and sharing my upload speed amongst many isn't the way to go. It makes me feel like a leecher not contributor. Like I said in the original post, I prefer to be a dedicated member of one tracker that serves one purpose (scene tracker) instead of a few. FTN serves that purpose very well (if not the best?) and that's why I'm still actively looking for a way to get in there.

The new games will definitely be on BitGamer/Underground Gamer, that would definitely solve your problems and they're extremely easy to get into.

When you finally get into any of these fancy named trackers you will find out that their are not heaven on earth and you have to get into another and another....
You've been into IPT just a few hours. Enjoy the content it has there isn't a tracker it has everything.

I have an account on BitGamer but they don't have this certain game for whatever reason. I know that it's not super-hot title or something but if a tracker serves a puprose of general 0-day or even general gaming it should include it.

I'm sorry to say but Underground-Gamer isn't 0-day tracker. They specialize in old stuff (like soundtracks from Atari games even lol :) ). Uploading games released later than 2000 is forbidden there. I am respected member of that tracker too and I love it for it's rarity. Grabbed dozens of atari and amiga roms, old MS DOS stuff etc.

Please, just please read what I have said and don't be so picky about the words. Let me reiterate it now then. I love IPT and from all 0-day trackers I am member of, this one is the best. It lacks consistency of uploads though, particularly in the Games/iSO section. I have downloaded two free torrents and because of the weekend - I just seed them back and enjoy the movies. More downloads will come in the following days for sure.
Besides - what else you could say about tracker than about it's speed, content (i can go through snatches and available files easily) and community even after 2 years of usage?

Yeah I get that. Replying to that would force me to iterate my needs and wants again which isn't a thing I would like to do. I did that few times arleady. I wouldn't consider Demonoid to be a good tracker to download from. Speed is just terrible out there and they bone you out of your upstream in no time and give nothing in return.

I like the way this topic goes though. No flames whatsoever :) Just some people being a little bit picky and maybe lazy to read whole posts thoughtfully :fst:

Alright, you've cleared my doubts.

Since you aren't satisfied in the Games/ISOs section then maybe you can look out for Blackcat's instead.

Referrals are currently closed, if you prove yourself to be a worthy member of any certain renown trackers I'm sure people will be willing to invite you there.

FTN's only got 0day and nothing else so there's no rare packs there.

I'm glad you could see them as questioning instead of flaming, most active members whom aren't senior members here will usually think of it as flaming and will try to counter back as if we had treated them with hostility.

tl;dr
Blackcat's would definitely be the better choice, trust me on this.
