-yeah some guys like this idea and other guys hate it but I think this list isn't bad. it is only a basic list, tell me which tracker I should change.
This list is more useful than any trader list..enjoy!

do you even know the info about most of these trackers ? , if this go's by content and speeds PTN , and PeerPortal sure as hell wouldnt be the lowest level

deepbassnine is the god of drum and bass / jungle content and it cant be beaten so that being level 2 is utter bull. Bit-HDTV is fucking crammed with content and the speeds are really good so that shouldnt be level 2

@TAT: how was the level chosen, and by whom if I may inquire?

Real tracker levels (1 being lowest, 3 being highest rating)
1. Public trackers
2. Semi-public trackers and trackers that have open signups reguraly
3. Private invite only trackers

Much easier this way to keep track ;)

btw thats the content,speed and pretime levels from the trader list haaha... only sorted.. but lets order it a litte bit on a other way and we have a really good list which are very useful for everyone :)

the WTO list is there to provide this kind of information and more (it's not perfect but gives an idea)

I think you need tracker level list for content, speed, pretime separately because demonoid can't be on level 5 if you consider all of the aspects. Also, this will be hard to rate trackers because they are various in content, and the way torrents are uploaded. Some trackers everyone can upload torrents, while in others, only uploaders can upload torrents.

This is a nice idea though.

actually not a bad idea, because the WTAW list is puuuuuuurely fooked up. 'We' should make a more detailed list of the trackers and not the link KFLint proposed. But also based on levels but then on specific content related so arrange trackers to content not on whether its difficult to get into... example:

TV series:
general TV series: any 0-day tracker
TV series based: bitmetv, tvtorrents etc.

and rank these according to what they offer (howmany torrents), speeds, members, etc.

Other things would be: Movies Xvid, Movies DVDr, Movies HD, Music (e.g. waffles, what.cd), Music Specific (e.g. trancetraffic, indietorrents, elektronik etc.), Games, etc.

who's in favor of this idea?

I'm not proposing anything, those are the two official threads to rate content and rarity here

Many tried to make a new format to rate trackers here, they all failed, because FST don't need another kind of trackers listing.

Try improving the WTO list instead, it's a nice a tool that just needs to be updated more frequently

What do people have against demonoid? its practically public, it has THE best choice of files from any private/semi private tracker out there, and the speeds are mediocre. it really is a good site, I turn there for most of my obscure stuff, and find it usually. okay, if your looking for 0day you might aswell sit and wait and dl it from TPB but thats beside the point. People just want the "elite" trackers to be all high and mighty in the list.

People giving out about PTN ebing low. Have you tried to download anything old from PTN that isnt a pack? theres mroe dead torrents on the site than live ones..... thats not a good thing.

I am 100% sure, that you don't even have the slightest clue what most of the listed sites are like. Won't come up with examples, beacuse nearly all of the sites are at the wrong level. Would have been a nice idea though.

Just ask for a reseed and someone will be seeding it within an hour, its one of the best trackers for content imo.

The "Good/Amazing" rating system is a bit flawed as is calling a tracker "Bad". I have no idea what makes a Bad tracker,to each his/her own? There are many different opinions on what makes a good Site! Myself, would not talk bad on any site or rate it good or bad..

I really do think it is pretty accurate on how hard a invite (the wto-wtaw)is to come by.? of course there are flaws with anything-nobody/nothing will ever be perfect and make everyone happy! There is no list, each tracker is good for someone. It is all a mater of perspective. Find a site that you like and keep it! Contribute and help! The grass is only as green as you make it, its never greener on the other side of the fence.

Stop going after trackers because its rated high...look at your current ones and enjoy them!


Like for me, HD --> hdbits, Bitme--educational stuff

Thats all i use :o and whatever you use, you will use for your own reasons!

This list is rather infatuated. No offense but I guess there are many lists which can be made here on FST - appr. as many as we are. So the rateable value of this list is close to zero.

As Naix mentioned, any douchebag can make their own tracker level list. But that doesn't make it a "real" list. They are only the douchebags' opinions.

I don't say that this is the best list but most of it was very well put. All those other crap tracker levels are for collectors and traders. I appreciate your effort..
