Yes. Admins, mods, and VIPs. Invites are closed to everyone else indefinitely.
Do you want them to stop using them too?
I'm not gonna judge you cause you're a trader, but they will. There's no use getting in just to get banned, really IMO.

I can guarantee that some classes (equal to or above 1080i) still have active invites. One of my buddies is an old time member there and he has got 2 active invites.

You realize HDbits isn't the only HD-tracker out there? Don't have it, maybe i'll try to get it when i put together a half decent HTPC. Awesome-HD is more than enough for me right now...
