Dear mrkris,
what is the problem with your service ? you should contact our support team that will gladly fix any of your issues.
The problem with your support team is that they dont answer people.
Pretty funny topic, this... I do see seedhost on these forums regularly and have had decent reply-times as well on mail (pre-sales, that is).
I do hope that any issues between the company and current customers can be resolved in a decent manner
I agree that their support isn't the greatest.
Speeds with them are alright though, well up until a few days ago at least. I've only been getting 300 KB/s max upload speed lately.
Umm, I hope I'm not in the wrong for dragging up this old thread, but it was the only thread related to seedhost.net and I was hesitant about creating a new one since this already existed.
I signed up with them earlier today, opened a ticket querying how long set up would be, and still have not received a response.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and so on?
Dunno yasiri but depending on where you are based and they are based, you could safely say it is/was a Sunday and replies/setups might be non-existent.
My account got activated today, however atm I can only download via ftp. Does anyone who's with seedhost.net know how to download via HTTP?
Depends on your config. If you got uTorrent + WebUI, you can't download using HTTP.
If you got Torrentflux, you can download from the built-in filemanager (a.k.a. read the manual or click some on your screen).
/edit: and no, I'm not working for seedhost but based my reply on the configs on their site.
Umm, I was told before I purchased the seedbox that I would be able to download via both HTTP and FTP on the seedbox I currently have. I've got uTorrent + WebUI btw. I asked them via. E-Mail earlier today, however have got no response, and kind of needed an answer asap.
Thanks anyway though FransTormer ^^
Cool, didn't know, thanks for clarifying!
I've had nothing but good experiences with them personally.
I'm having big problems with this guys also-got my login details 36h ago ,but I cant login not to the server nor to VNC -submitted a support ticket (Ticket ID: 165521) and nothing.. the minimum us normal user require is a response-not good so far
I've only been with them for about a week, but so far I'm happy with the service. They setup my account within 24 hours, so I was happy with that. I'm just on one of the basic shared server plans, but the speeds have been amazing! I've seen downloads speeds of 10MB/s+ and upload speeds of 4MB/s+, which have done wonders for my ratios on private torrent sites.
I submitted a support ticket concerning FTP, which they answered promptly, but I'm really disappointed with FTP speeds. I've tried Filezilla, SmartFTP, FlashFXP and Firefox's FireFTP and can only get speeds of 5Kb/s, which is pretty useless. I have a fast connection too, I can usually download at around 225Kb/s. That said, seedboxes are intended for seeding. That's why I got it and for that purpose, it's superb!
I would recommend Seedhost.net:)
Hi i have some serious problem wth seedhost,
i cant access my seed box from past 2 days as well as there is no response from there side.
I also submitted a ticket but still no reply...679307
Well it seems like I'm having major problems with them too. I've logged MULTIPLE tickets... suddenly I can't access seedhost.net - neither am I able to get to my torrent interface - files don't download through FTP, etc.
I'm a bit sick and tired of all the excuses and the regular 'is has been fixed' message, and in the meantime nothing has been fixed!
Is this a regular occurance?!
Yeah my box is down and I can't access anything right now. Sent them a ticket 8 hours ago and no response. This seems to happen once a week with them where something goes down for some reason. I don't know why but seedhost.eu is never down as much as these guys are.
My shared seedbox with them has been down for about 36 hours. The best part was that earlier this morning their entire website was inaccessible for a while as well. If you're gonna go down I guess you might as well go all the way!
YEAH ! my box is down for at least 50 hours !
opened 2 support tickets no ANSWER so far... getting on my nerves already...
It is fine to have problems, but it is unacceptable to not even reply on any tickets, not to post ANY UPDATES regarding the state of the servers, etc. Just weird how this happened 2 days after I renewed for another 30 days.
PS. Going for 5 days off-line on the seedbox!
guess what... i grew sick of waiting on support answers and just opened a Dispute over the Payment on PAYPAL ! let's see....
Wow, five days. I'm glad mine hasn't been down that long. But I only signed up last weekend and have had about as much downtime as uptime for my box. What I don't get is that the server doesn't seem to be completely offline as I plugged the hostname into this website: http://www.opendns.com/support/cache/ and every single cache returns the same (and apparently) valid ip address. I would think that if the server was offline then it wouldn't show up at all. But I'm not a networking guru and could be totally wrong in this case. But I would be very interested to see if anyone else with a seedhost box sees the same type of result I did.
jelipesp, let me know how the Paypal dispute goes as i may have to take that route myself. But I remember reading on here somewhere that someone goes denied a refund by Paypal because the seedbox was considered a "virtual" item and there was no way to prove delivery of the service.
well, yah it is a "virtual" item...
although you can prove that the item is not delivery bt taking screen shots of failed attempts to acces the server either through FTP, VNC or Web UI. despite the fact that the service it self is "virtual", the machine where it's located is phisical and hence you can't access it you cannot get your "virtual" item.

I don't think I'll see my 12 Euro back, but it's the principle that counts - not the loss of 12 Euro!
My server is down as well. Their loss, my bill is due tomorrow and since I haven't heard anything and still can't access my server, my business will be taken elsewhere. No point in paying 88euro for shotty support.
Seems there must be a major issue if this many people are having the same problem at the same time. Good luck running a decent business with this type of support, I know many people (from many sites) who use resellers and I will for sure be telling them to go elsewhere.
I believe that there is a major issue behind this all lol.
but like others said no matter what the hell happened leaving customers without answers for days is amazingly stupid for your own bussiness.
I my self, ordered a dedicated server from KeyWeb, i'll build my own Torrent Box there, let's see what goes on hehehe
Is there a major issue, or is it just sheer coincidence that so many people suddenly have gotten problems accessing their seedboxes, etc. etc. etc. ---- makes you wonder, doesn't it.
Well...
Only major thing hapenning latelly that could be slightly involved with is the law France parliament passed nearly 2 weeks ago.
besides i don't recall any building explosion, bombings or anything like it that could've disrupted networking services around the region

I think I need to file a Paypal dispute as well before it gets too late. How are you others describing the problem when filling the form out? I guess we also need to hope that the person/people behind seehost have money in their account or we will never get a refund of any kind.
