I'm selling my desktop.
Here's it's specs:
CPU: P4 2.4c OCed to 3.0
CPU Heatsink: Thermalright SP-94 Pure Copper with a 92mm Tornado Fan
Mobo: Asus P4P800 Deluxe
Ram: 2x1 GB PC3200 and 2x1 GB PC3200
GPU: Ati X850XT
PSU: Ultra Modular 500W PSU
Back in the day, this was the beast of all computers. Now it's probably not worth more than $200. :pinch::(:(

Its like an old car , worth more " parted out " . :D Now if someone was looking for a second computer or needed a part to fix a friends old computer ...

the x850xt goes for $50. which is decent i guess.
i might just end up keeping it cuz $100 is not worth it to sell it.

Oh and the place is "really" really good to get stuff from, comparable to Newegg and cheaper on most, and great place, ordered my new barebones from there and some other junk for it, a $1000 rig fro about $500 :)

I at least got a buddy to pay $40 for mine, I was happy I wanted the damn thing gone...but I was attached to it, but hey, I'm so happy with my new rig, I feal like I came out of the stone age.
lol yea. i just have this huge thing hanging around with nothing to do with it. i have a xbox 360 now, so i don't really play any games on it. and my laptop is mostly what i use anyway. sigh
I have a 360 too, currently on RE5 second go around, but I have played a few games on the new rig, Crysis and mainly NBA2k9 and MLB2K9, but my rig isn't even tailored to a gamer, yet it renders my games flawlessly. Loading up Bioshcok sometime soon, then we shall see if I blow it up.
i swapped out my x850xt for my old radeon 9600. how much power does this desktop use on idle? i can't image more than 100 watts...
honestly you are probably better off just turning into a second (dedicated) machine for whatever you do
my advice would be to simply give it away as a gift to somebody who doesnt have a computer. those specs are still well capable of handling most normal daily activities (browsing, email. music etc..)

if you still decide to sell it you'd probably get more money from individual parts themselves. selling a old computer whole these days isn't worth it.

probably less than 200W at idle but that's a rough guess since power efficiency is far better today then it was just a couple years ago. a lot depends on your psu as well.
you can pick up one of those cheap power meters at home depot that plug between the pc and socket.
