Crasy Browser explanations
I agree, IE6 all the way.
for compatability and ease etc, it has to be ie6
but there prob are better browsers
Opera or MyIE2 is best. <_<
For compatibility, IE
For its use of pure web browsing and the lack of bloatware in it as a result, Mozilla Firebird
ie6 for windows updates
and firebird for everything else.
Firebird is for linux mainly :P
not true, there are windows versiona nd they work very well.Quote:

Oh well i use firebird for linux and opera for windows. <_<
Mozilla Firebird is cross-platform by design - It's available for use by any OS which can run the executable (I don't think there's a public OS which can't run it though)Quote:

yep firebird is the best
MyIE2 has all the compatibility of Internet Explorer, but has the brilliant interface you'd expect from the better browsers.
It is based on the IE engine, so it has no problems browsing any site or using IE plugins like the GoogleBar, but it includes great features like a tabbed interface, popup blocker, content filter, mouse gestures, and so on.
Best of all, it's free.

MyIE2 is a mod of IE, it use IE and adds all it's great stuff.

MyIE2, Firebird and Mozilla are all great browsers. Can't go wrong with these three.
K-lite browser wars again?
hmm, just downloaded Mozilla Firebird, downloaded all the bells and whistels, and I have to say, it aint half bad, I could prolly grow to like it, but its kinda slow when it comes to images.
Try opera

Opera, Ie6, MYIE2, and Mozilla are all great, i have treid them all. But for some reason I like Avant The best. It is much like MYIE2 but i just like it better. I suggest you try it out. It has evverything you could ever want from a browser.
IE6 and Opera are my favorites :-) Opera's great for the ability to open new window's in the background and use tab's to navigate them, but IE's easier to use when it come's to dealing with cookies etc :-)
I've also got, and tried and tested, Netscape (pretty good, if a little heavy in it's feel of use, and it's got an annoying splashscreen that you can't get rid of in the latest version), SlimBrowser (use's IE's resources and add's features, similair to Opera but not as extensive, still a nice little browser though as an alternative), Mozilla Firebird (only tried that recently and got to say i'm not so keen on that one, it feel's a bit sluggish and could do with a few tweak's to the interface and option's)
Overall IE6 is still the best in my opinion, with Opera in very close 2nd place :-)
Sniper.
I agree, MyIE2 is deffo the best. I am using it now, as a matter of fact.Quote:

IE6
People, I am telling you, try Avant.
It has always been and will continue to be, Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I don't even see where the arguement is. I just upgraded Opera 7.11 to 7.2 this morning and it's far superior to IE. Opera is faster than IE, more custimizable, and more secure.
