I use MBProbe. Freeware. Google is your friend.
ive just 2day started usin hardware sensors monitor and the 1st one that wrks! its shareware though :( .
does my mobo has a cpu temp sensor thing? i' stupid and dumb. i have a intel 865 APE, not sure wat brand
i'm getting 0 degrees C or 32 degrees F for my mobo temp. that's not right.
ur mb shud av temp sensors on it! unless its really old or really really shit! btw wot prog u usin?
tried mbprobe, but the temp is 0 degrees C for my Mobo, which is impossible
mbprobe dint wrk for me either! it sed me cpu temp was -100c! lol, try da shareware 1 i sed, it wrks fine, deyll b a crack/serial sumwher! get it frm here
where did u get the key? i can't find it
sorry! i cudnt find 1! lol! prog wrks fine. itll prob wrk after 30 days lyk winrar etc. ull prb jus av a pop-up or sumthing, if u find one let me no!
No it doesn't work after 30 days.I had it installed before and at the 30 days it just pops upo a message saying that your trial has run out and it will shut down.I tried to find a key for it or a crack but to no avail. I did find a crack from www.google.com but it won't run on XP for some reason. I only have 8 days left on my current trial of this program and thin k it is by far the best one I have found this far.I am still searching for a crack though and if I find one I'll be sure to let everybody know where I found it.
yea, i found that one 2 on trinsic.org. but it didn't work for xp
wat is cpu 2 supposed to be? i'm getting 64 degs on that one
abu_has_the_power, try restarting your computer and go into the BIOS and see if you can see the temps there. That way you will be able to see what that 64 degrees refers to. I suspect it's your CPU temp.

dats wot i get on hardware systems monitor.
Nice post, Kunal.
It shows that abu_has_the_power's CPU temp is probably 64C.
What's with your voltages. Especially the +5V ?
aint got a clu wid the voltages! lol! a m8 of mine set me comp up, everything is @ the correct voltage!
A drop in the +5v power is usually a sign that the ps is struggling to provide enough power. You may be within the overall limits of the ps, but I would not expect it to last long if that reading is correct.
High performance graphics cards take big chunks out of your +5v supply, as do some usb devices but when you boot up they are in vga mode, or not operative (usb) so readings shown in the bios may appear to be ok, but once they are fully operative the power consumption rises, and once over the limit the voltage begins to drop.
I strongly recommend getting the +5v reading checked with an actual meter, and if it is as low as indicated upgrade the power supply.
ive got a g-force 4 mx 440 gc and a 350watt psu, i doubt i shud b havin probs but ill get it checked n e ways
just checked me bios and i have similar readings in der, shud i be worried? it says pc health status is OK aswell.
+5v supply should never drop below about 4.95v, so you've got big problems. Try disconnecting the power to some of the devices (usb, cd, hd, etc) and check your bios reading again, if it is still low disconnect everything except the mobo and check again. If it is STILL low, get it checked with a meter, and if it is actually that low there's a fault, either your mobo is drawing too much power or you ps is faulty.
If the voltage goes up when you disconnect some devices, you need a better ps, and pretty soon too.
ill try dat in a min, cud i be riskin damage to comp if the +5 voltage is too low? its +4.47 atm.
Unlikely to do any physical damage, but you could get data transfer errors and bad disc writes, so you could end up with a corrupted system.
unplugged all but m/b and g/c still got a similar voltage reading, wot do u think i shud do? i never had n e probs wid system b4!
Check the voltage with a digital multimeter on one of those power cables:
http://www.ontrack.com/images/techsu...powercable.jpg
Check for DC voltage between the yellow and black.
Check for DC voltage between the red and black.
You will then see the actual 5V and 12V output of your power supply.
a digital wot?! lol! ill jus take it 2 me local comp shop, i no sum1 der he'll sort it out and wont chagre me! :DQuote:

That's just like the one I had, until my brother turned the power on when I was testing continuity. Got a decent one after that.Quote:

my rails r:
+12V: +12.16
+5V: +5.11V
Core: +1.47V
I/O: +3.36V
Aux: +1.49
i'm using a PowerTek 500 Watt Dual Fan PSU. how r the rails?
mines a bit different:Quote:

means u probaly need a new cpu cooler/heatsink! im gettin 1 soon! get one wid a copper bottom/core
i just got my comp like 1 month ago. so it's new. how come the cpu 1 is low and the cpu 2 is high?Quote:

@abu_has_the_power,
There is already enough information in this thread for you to figure out what those temps mean. Study this image and all the text in it.
