Well congratz on that. :w00t:
All gold, and it's to your credit.
Nice, congratulations :)
:hooray:Well done.
Hey way to go!
Just another sign of the distance you've traveled, Sonja.
Well done.
Congratz:thumbsup:
Nice username change.
congrats on being a whore. :hbd:
Fair point, well presented, as always.
*Tbh, Ross has done a decent job running this board, and he's just a wee little one. At his age I was wasting time in the Army. I learned how to kill stuff, and walk really far, mostly.
*That's the first time I've used "to be honest". I don't like it.
It's crap.
True story.

Learning how to kill stuff is a valuable life skill.
I meant, it is useful to be able to end suffering. It is often the cats bring in a mouse or a bird that is pretty much dead and I wish I would have the stomach to just kill the poor things instead of letting them suffer idly.
Killing is killing, pretty much.
Jeepers! I am nearly at 8,000 posts - who would have thunk it? The years have just rolled by (like a falling jet while Superman is wrestling with a particularly nasty piece of kryptonite).
Indeed Les, we have known each other for a long time. One of these days, you, I and JP will have to go for a pint.
I posted in the wrong thread;
RF should be coming up soon as well, we can do something then, no?
Hmmm, when exactly do you leave? RF is thinking of coming up the week ending the 15th of August.
He tells me you is in the union btw! I never knew. Can you help me with my work trubbles?
On a Saturday?
I has, they is being mean to me
Ah well, we can potentially do the 15th then. It's just after RF's 56th birthday
It seems them rights don't really do all that much for teh ladies with the childs.
It seems turning down a a flexible hours request for part time work on the grounds of it not fitting business requirements is perfectly valid. Even if the person who did the job before me only worked part time.
It also seems it is perfectly ok to announce redundancies and then request said lady with teh child to work hours she can't possibly adhere to due to nursery opening times. It seems getting rid of an extra person that way to cut cost is acceptable
It seems bastard companies get away with fucking murder.

edit: wrong thread
They're not changing my hours, they are wanting me to do the exact same as before and stick to a shift pattern between 8Am and 5.30 PM. Problem is; nursery hours are between 8 and 6 and I live a 45 minute drive away.
I know about constructive dismissal but what I've read about it, it seems rather difficult to prove. On top of that, I am already in the last 3 months of my mat leave so I don't get paid anymore, so unless JP is going to offer me his epic lawyering skills, I don't know how to afford taking the thing to a tribunal.
