I don't think I've uploaded a single whole file today -- I'm running bitTorrent which uploads partials of files instead. But I've probably uploaded 2 GB in the last 24 hours.

I don't usually leave it up 24 hrs a day, but I'd say I average about 1 an hour. Mostly comic books.

Did'nt check but I send over 50mb per day on average, almost all of it porn.

I made a post about this before people but no one got the message, STOP DOWNLOADING SO MUCH PORN. <_< I have over 700 books and am releasing my own skin compilation for Windowblinds + Cursor xp but nobody can get to them through all the porn.

ummm... i think Switeck is confused. an upload is ppl d/ling off you. so you can't upload. but the other ppl can. you d/l. any clearer?

well... anyway, i donno. per say but i think it's a fairly desent amount, i left kazaa on all day, so quite a few ppl should of got alot of stuff off me. so at least 50 or more, depending on if ppl like my stuff or not, lol.

lots and lots of uploading. Have p2p open now about 3 days and nights. I have "clear every upload after every cycle on" so don't know how many, but all the time 4 people are uploading from me and mostly movies and tv series

I have it so 10 people can upload from me. So its like 10 different people and when one is done another picks up the slot, since i am not always in front of my puter and since i clear my uploads and downloads i can't give a full amount per day, but i am guessing about 100 - 150 per day. I have DSL 1.5 Mbs Down/300Kbs Up.

I uploaded 0 (zero) complete files today. But loads of partials. The 2 slots in K++ with 8 kB/s upload bandwith total have been maxed out all day. (4000/128 kbs Cable)

10 slots at 300 kb/s is to much. 3-5 slots at 256 kb/s would allow for faster uploads, so the people that download from you can start sharing the complete file sooner.

I just leave it on 24/7 unless I need the cpu for mapping. Mostly games, but lately Duck tales And sometimes I share maps - Alaska seems popular.

On the experimental BitTorrent (v3.2.1b2 I think I'm using...), you are almost always constantly uploading whatever you're downloading/downloaded.
And it gives a running count of the amount you've uploaded AND downloaded separately.

To hit 1 GB/day uploading, you have to upload at a sustained rate of at least 12 KB/sec ALL day.

If more people keep just 25% of their upload bandwidth constantly uploading something other people want, KL++ download speeds would skyrocket.
