its not new but to those who aint in the know yet:

Go to whatever tracker you are on.

Once on your stats page,paste the code above on the address bar and hit enter.

You'll notice that the page now becomes editable.Move the cursor to whatever it is you'd like modified and change it to whatever values you want(terabytes,invites,nickname etcetc).

Print the screen and you are done.


^^one more reason why people should think twice before they hand out invites on the basis of ratio screenies.

edit: nvm works in the major ones but there was a problem with your code.
I won't share it because I don't want to tell people how to do this. It's probably just best that this serves as a reminder to users that screenshots can be edited and that they should be careful who they trade with...

This has always been easy to do, which is why I never trusted screenshots when I gave invites away. The most reliable way of course is checking out a user is through direct profile links.
(But obviously if you don't want to be screwed over, give invites to only good people you trust :P)

I think it's just to "decrease" the number of people who give invites based on this kind of "proof".

Btw, everybody knows that you can edit ratio values inside an image even in "Paint" and make it looks "real" :huh:

except that many GAers settle for a simple profile link without pming the user on the tracker... so in the end, they can't really know who owns the account in question.

Anyone who thinks screenshots (real or fake) of one's stats is enuff to gage/decide if someone is trust worthy or not, deserves what ever fallout results from inviting a cheater/scammer/trader.

And yes...if you must go by profile then a direct link is the only way.

Rooney's mistake is thinking that invites are given based on worth. They are given based on trust or obligation or whim but hardly ever on " worth " ( which is fine btw because it's not like we are talking of anything of real import here).

Whereas what you seem to be doing wrong jasperr is thinking that you can befriend someone to gain anything other than their friendship . What you are describing is a contrivance not a friendship .

Well, that's atleast how I would like to do my giveaways. I can't trust anyone these days, certainly not at places like this, so if I should do a giveaway I would need a direct link on another tracker to show me that he is capable of maintaining a good ratio.
