I prefer action RPG's. I like blowing stuff up but not to the point of mindless destruction, and I like managing stats but not to the point where I spent more time planning than playing. It provides a nice balance.

Love RPG's and FPS's, and for those who like older games like on snes you should try out Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars one of my all time favorites, the battle system is like the one on the last remnant if you know how that is, you take turns pretty much but its a great game. RPG's Rock!! I cant get enough of Fallout 3.
Games like Sim City and the Total War franchises. I could easily spend a whole day engrossed in those types of games.
