What will be Modern Warfare 2's system requirements? (Predict if you don't know)
Does anyone know what system requirements Modern Warfare 2 will be. I couldn't play World at War because my processor speed was 2.8 ghz but call of duty 4 worked fine. Please tell me that the required processor speed will be lower that cod5!!

This is what I found doesn't mean it's true but everything that I've read suggests that it won't require anything special to run MW 2.
Minimum System Requirements
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor
Display Card: NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better
Memory: 512MB
Free Disk Space: 8GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
Recommended System Requirements
Processor: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended
Display Card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better
Memory: 1024MB
Free Disk Space: 8GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

My PC won't support this game. Too bad. I think it will be a great game.

I played with Modern Warfare 1 and it has low system requirements.
The MW2 part will require higher sys.req's ,but not too much...
3Ghz processor + Gforce 7800 will be good probably...

I think if you cant play WAW then you will struggle to play the new one. I cant see that it will have lesser system requirements. I hope i'm wrong cause you will be missing out a one hell of a game. :)

Will this game not require Direct X 10? If it does then it will be Vista or 7 only. No?

The game is not required to be used with DX10. This game will still be compatible with Windows XP.

Those minimum requirements are like Best-Before dates on food. My brother has a true shit comp and didn't meet the requirements for World at War nor MW1 but he can still play it decently. It looks like shit, but it's playable.
Anyway, I'm gonna buy it and hopefully enjoy it. It's something with me that stops me from downloading games, maybe because I used to be a true nerd of all sort of games and feel like I need to treat them like a girl(wich would be drag home, in, out, and dump,but this case is an exception to that rule).

Those requirments you're stating are the ones for Call of Duty 4 the original Modern Warfare. It's less than a month til release and they still haven't let us know what the Reqs are... Doesn't anyone find that a little weird???
