I just have an old viewsonic E655 15". I bought it used a while back because my 17" blew up and I couldn't afford a new one.The reason I am still using it is because the picture quality is about 10 times better than my 17 was and I haven't seen any new monitors in my price range with as good quality.

What's up with the laptop, what are its specs, just curious. And those laptop monitors are pretty small and don't look that great, eh? Are you considering upgrading to an attachable external monitor?Quote:

On my main computer I use a Viewsonic G810 21" monitor which I bought pretty much on the cheap. On my other machine, I have a Gateway Destination 31" monitor that I thought was going to be cool for gaming, but since Gateway hasn't written a driver that jibes with Win XP, the highest resolution I can get is 640 x 480
A DELL 17" Something
BOT
4 monitors
1 17 inch impression monitor
1 15 acer LCD monitor
1 15 CRT monitor

You shouldn't use 60 Hz - it's bad for the eyes.Quote:

Try and get up to 85Hz or so, or at least above 70.
