How could I have forgotten DVD-RAM, and I just remembered CD-I.

That format seems very unreliable, plus DVD-Recordable formats have taken the liberty to harness the power of this technology; DVD-RAM Type II is an example, it uses dual layers. In fact, a dual-sided, dual-layered DVD can store 17GB of material, far more than the market currently offers (4.7/9.4GB).
it doesnt say it was dead..... it said that C3D is gone..... the technology got bought mostly by Sony....so as it says in the article....we might see this coming one way or another... its the future no doubt about it...
