Sometimes Demonoid is gone for weeks, other times it's gone for months, sometimes years.. but it will be back (maybe not in our lifetimes though).

What you can do, is to go to mininova or isohunt or thepiratebay and type 'demonoid' into their search boxes. It's not the same of course, but you'll be amazed at what you'll find.
Yeah.. can't really go over to mini-nova. Unfortunately, as I have now received two letters from my ISP telling me what a bastard Pirate I am, I have to lay low and not frequent the public sites.. I kick it in some decent private locations, but nothing that has the wide birth and promise of demonoid.. They had everything..

try using PeerGuardian. I used to get those letters from my ISP until I started using it.
Yes I really do realize how great demonoid is and how much I use it when its down.
agreed. Hope they get their $#!+ together soon enough. Anyone know the reason for the downtime - were they hacked?
I just have been with demonoid for the last three monts. But absolutely love their collection and books. Wish they come back soon.
Its just the plethora of content there that makes Demonoid all the more appealing.. Come to think of it, nobody actually comes running there asking why there's no freeleech there :D (unlike at other scene torrent sites)

demonoid is so bad ass. so much content, few rules.
i joined some site called immortalseed and got banned on the second day just for saying that RAR files suck!! all their content came in rar file.
oh well, entourage is over so i guess i can wait for demonoid for a couple of more weeks...

Deomonoid doesnt care about ratio so it doesnt really matter.
well they used to do...but u r right, it doesn't really matter...
i only got intrigued because people here were discussing ratios and i was like, mine's just static :P
The ratio tracking at Demonoid has always be inconsistent, sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesn't.
well mine hasn't changed ever since the site was taken down by the MPAA
that said, you didn't hear me complaining either :P
