I did, but it was a bit wank, mate.
It was a singular entendre and they only work when you're mulder, like.

Fair enoughski, hotshot. That amuses me slightly.
I've found, though, that if you have to expalin it, then it wasn't inherently funny.
Muhhahaha, like.

Re: Definition of a double entendre.
I'm sorry. It's not cold enough or I would send you a picture of me slipping on ice. That's always funny, eh.

Always.
Always.
And triple always to the max.
You knows I loves you, Paul. I just don't like it when you wave your swollen, ice-scuppered lower limbs all over the place.
You whore.

Re: Definition of a double entendre.

I am a whore, often a clumsy whore. However, I do it for the conversation, companionship, and firstly...the lulz, man.
I'm a failed poet. Yet, I can't stop trying. Trying - has made my life less miserable. I flushed the "little blue pills" down the toilet, and I reach for the shelf with the "bottles" less.
Fuck the drama.
Word.
I loves you too, man.

Nah, was the '20s, the Roaring Twenties you've heard so much about.

No indeed; I suppose that's one of the reasons I still do this stuff - I am amongst those who know me and know as well that any complaints fall on selectively deaf ears.
For that grace I thank you, one and all.
Btw-
If I google Joe Beltrami, I will deprive Les of an opportunity to limn and expound.
That's your cue, Les...

Re: Definition of a double entendre.
Slipperiest defence lawyer that ever sold a circuit judge a cheap plywood Chippendale there ever was.

Joe Beltrami?
Joe and I have had words, true story.
He feigned ignorance of the voluntary bill, as it pertained to the English legal system. I accused him of mendacity, and we laughed it off.
Chancer.

He did indeed. He's that kind of bloke, likes to test the strength of people.
At the same meeting I offered that reports suggested he was retired. He replied that he was but that he still involved himself in interesting cases.
I opined that Glasgow's constabulary may have exaggerated tales of his "passing", referencing "Wilde". How we larfed.
