I used the DAMN .NFO viewer back when I was running Win98. After upgrading to XP and associating .NFOs with Notepad, the viewer just became kind of redundant.
It is a nice lil proggy though, and the green text on the black background makes you feel kinda 1337 when you use it.
Notepad doesn't show the files correctly.
Another freeware is:
Getdiz website.
How so? I can read the text in the .NFO just fine with Notepad.Quote:

The only thing that gets a bit hard to see is the ascii logos at the top of some .NFOs, but I'm not really worried about that.

You can see all the ASCII stuff in Notepad too. Just change the font to Terminal, and you'll see all the ASCII stuff.
ive had that for ever now and its phat, i recommend it but you don't need it tho, it just makes things a bit easierhttp://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b/smiley2k.gif
I can see the text that makes up the ascii pics just fine, I just can't see what the picture is, that's all... as I don't care about that, it's no big deal.Quote:

Layout is sometimes a little off too but again, no biggy.
As long as I can read the info, I dont see the need for a specialized .NFO viewer.
Each to his own. ;)
