My pleasure, girlie. Glad you like it. I'd say that I hope you enjoy it, but it's impossible not to.
Best. Book. Evar. Fact.
Literary folklore has it that Márquez barricaded himself in a room for 17 months or so and this was the finished result. A true work of genius.
Where did he go for a poo?
At Paul's, obviously.
Ah, yes, of course.
I didn't know doobs and Gabriel were acquainted. He
It is a wonderful book. Marquez' work is so beautiful in English, I wish I could read Spanish.

Having a wee read before bed time.

Drool and literature go together like porn and chips.
The chap is clearly a ginger genius. Bless.
It comes and goes. At the moment he is eating cat food.
whoa he has grown! He shows traits of curiosity. Could be dangerous.
Great book you were given.
Tell me about it mate. He is into everything at the moment. He's not even walking yet and I feel all I do all day is running after him.
If you liked this book you might like pillars of the earth by ken Follet it revolves around the building of a cathedral in medieval England. the time spa is about 60 years so by the end of the book characters that started out as baby's are very old and some die.
Follet writes strait to the point with no bs in the middle and i like that very much
Agreed, Pillars of the Earth is a classic.
If this Marquez book is similar I'll have to look out for it.
I'm about a quarter through it and it's excellent so far. I only have time to read a few pages at night unfortunately, so it's slow going.
Follet's novel is a really interesting one, Gabo's is a masterpiece.
Check out Love in the time of cholera although it's not as good as solidute
I've read Love in the time of Cholera, it was the first of his books I read :)
Truly a great read, but I wish not everyone was called Jose, Arcadio, Aureliano, or any random combination of those names.
