I use to use Demonoid to download all my torrents, but since its shutdown in September I have been looking for a replacement ever since.
Are there any torrent sites out there that are comparable?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try Zamunda.net
Zamunda, Torrents.ru, and IPT are three rather large general trackers, and have some great content.
bitsoup is good too if you dont mind getting pm for donation...and torrentbits.ro..its open now..

I really like IPT. I just got an invite the other day and it's had pretty much anything I searched for. It's pretty easy to get an invite for, you just need to ask around.
Glad to hear demonoid will be returning.. I recently made a thread on a large discussion forum asking if anyone knew of substitutes and the majority of replies were "THE PIRATE BAY HAS EVERYTHING NUB".. while I do use TPB from time to time and agree it's probably one of the largest/best pub trackers, it appears they have a pretty weak offering when it comes to applications and elearning.
Mate no private tracker can compete with Demonoid, only the near ones can be zamunda and bitsoup. I prefer Zamunda and they are more secure than Demonoid.
Speaking of Zamunda...I haven't been able to connect to their website for the past few days. Is everyone having this problem? Anyone know what's up?

Alot of sites go up and down for whatever reason. I can easily switch to the next site the second the one im searching starts to lag or give me a 404 and find what I'm looking for. :happy:
Yupp demonoid was an extremely good site, hard to replace. If demonoid was not down I would not be looking around for sites :)

Well, I would recommend zamunda.net, lasttorrents.org or partis.si as a substitute for demonoid. They all have huge content, good pretimes and speed better than demonoid. You can also try TL (general/0day) if you're looking for really amazing private tracker.
