If the link don't work.. go 2 www.ircspy.com and Left-Click "Kazaa set to end its days of free music"
Relly Bad news, post your thoughts here! <_<
So the only way they would be happy would be if there were no music downloads at all on internet
well, as long as there are people like us p2p willl never be completely gone, and what they're planning doesnt seem that bad, as long as the prices are low. Then we wouldnt have to worry about any legal issues.
But even so, free networks will probably always exist.
They want to fight a war they cannot win
as long as people share kazaa will exist
thats kazza not k-lite!
What do you mean?
It's k-lite
All this means is kazaa lite wont be able to access KMD Clients, kazaa lite will have it's own network.
so? big deal
there is no shortage of p2p networks
fasttrack is only one of them
and BTW it's the KMD client that charges you money not other clients like klite++
ppl using klite++ can still share freely on the fasttrack network
Like continous downloaders like me?Quote:

Lets hope it will push more from KMD onto K-lite. I will never pay for music again as long as i live. I am now 36yo and since the age of 13 upto the age of 32/33 i have been paying full price (overpriced) for all my cd's. Well no more, now its my time to redeem some of the small fortune i have put into the music industry.
K-LITE IS MY RIGHT !
I'd imagine they'd have a gigantic headache trying to get every single ISP in the world to track downloads for them. Kazaa billing you, maybe. Getting ISPs into the mix. Can't happen.
No ISP would want to set itself up for that. It'd just be a waste of resources.
:ninja:
yeah but they keep buddering
So Riaa and kazaa teamed up. If you think about it that's what happened. That's bad news for us. Another reason kazaa probably did this was so the riaa can get all the k-lite user. Then kazaa will not have anymore trouble from it biggest competition.
Even if they do make laws in every single countrie saying isp must charge people for dl's other wise the isp someone will just put a server on a saterlite and then we can all use that to dl our free music, this will never work dont stress we will always get music for free the dam record companys r just greedy basteds anyways chargin 30$ for a cd in Australia. I agree with coco i will never buy another cd even if they make a law saying isp must charge there will always be rogues out there makin it possible for us to get free music.
"The proposal, which could finally end the days of the free lunch for millions of music fans" -- Uh huh, im sure it will. Fuck you P2P news.
BTW y do the record companys care so much when someone downloads a song they would only lose a very little amount of $$ incomparison to a company like microsoft, when someone dls a program from microsoft eg.Windows XP ISO, microsoft loses out on like $300. why isnt Bill Gates Stressin?
anyway a bit off topic.
I think it was said best by Hex-
"So kazaa is going to charge? Big deal, there are many other alternatives out there already, and someone is sure to come along and make an equally as easy way to share files, (Ares is the new Kazaa clone by the way) I really wish the RIAA would learn they can't win this one."
Agreed...Q.E.D.
We must all fight to keep P2P alive...........
I also agree but, If Kazaa Lite charges on my internet bill i might stop
But it all depends on the price :D
So yea, keep it alive, i know i Will B)
Do u think Kazaa will start charging prices on your internet bill?
If so, will the charges be high or monthly!?
No. :sleeping:Quote:
