I'm watching as well, albeit scanning the interwebs on the lappy for a Christmas gift as the games a bit slow right now.
Do you guys ever go to the games?
I am willing to concede the result right now; we're about to receive a pasting from a middling (though Rose Bowl-bound) OSU team.
Michigan football has been lacking for several years, and the future is not so bright.
I fear we're about to see a repeat of the Notre Dame scenario.
The Immaculate Interception! :O
An abslolut stastic! I'd say, if I was sober.
too short, ther K
 @ Afronaut
The game went about as expected. Did ewe guys watch Ole MIss vs LSU? :O
Alas, "fast" footballers don't enjoy The Big Ten's lovely weather. And college football is a speed game. However, the Buckeyes have managed fairly well; especially - when compared to others in the conference. ;)
The Ohio State University has never been mediocre, btw. :snooty:

That's not what I said, but for The Ohio State University, this year's team is indeed middling.
Great OSU teams do not suffer two losses, sorry.
On the other hand, I can't recall an OSU team muddling through a year like Michigan just did either, so.
Fair enough.
Did you at least enjoy decent food, drink and company? I did. Game day was mostly win.
Did I mention the weather was beautiful, too.

Weather was great (58F and sunny) - spent the AM in the woods chasing hunters then played around the house with the game on in the (deep) background while I loaded DeLorme Topo 8.0 (for my mapping/GPS activities) onto netty and the immaculate contraption.
'Twas lovely.
You chased hunters?
Trespassers, who are often (and now, during deer sesson, always) hunters.
Did you shoot them, like they do with the deer?
No, I inform them they are trespassing and escort them from the property - if they are repeat customers, they can be ticketed for the infraction.
If there is a poaching incident, things get a bit more serious.
You should install some l33t laser shooting devices.
I do have some lasers, but they are for aiming my surveillance cameras.
I can't even use a taser, ffs.
Actually, I haven't had an incident of note in two years, so my efforts must be having a positive effect.
I thought you had this law in America where you can do whatever you want to someone trespassing on your property?
No, not true - you have a bit more liberty if someone comes into your house (home invasion), where mal-intent is more easily assumed, but crossing a property line (even if clearly marked) is considered less serious.
That said, while hunters are expected to know where they are/are not allowed to be, many are ignorant.
Turns out the Simpsons isn't the educational programme it pretends to be. :snooty:
Quite true, but I find myself occasionally dealing with the willfully ignorant, who don't watch such tripe.
Tripe you say Kev?
Yes.
The Simpsons is tripe.
South Park is much better.
Bullshit. The Simpsons is quality tv, Kevin. South Park is as well. Everybody knows that, ffs.
-doobs :snooty:
Poor deluded Kev  His true age is starting to show now.
Deluded, you say.
Huh.
Would you prefer diluted? I can accommodate
Sounds good-
I'll have a scotch.
I'll take a scotch, also. Johnny Walker Black will do fine, Skweeks.
-doobs
/me pours the drinks
Well done.
On another note, the Packers win.
The Browns lose.
To the Lions.
Well, you still have the Bengals.
And you still have the Lions. Wait...your a Packers fan. Right?
Whatever.
-doobs
Right.
Sorry about last week, btw.
That was unexpected.
