Do you have the installation CD for XP ?
Is it a Corp Edition ?
Does your older PC meet the minimum requirements for XP ?
If so then do a clean install on the older PC.
why don't you connect the two pcs and transfer it or burn the xp to a cd

WinXP requirements.
Personally, I think the memory minimum is a bit dodgy. The more the merrier with XP.

well if it meets the specs from clocker's link there should be no reasonQuote:

jus' one more question how can i copy my Windows Xp files to a disk and then install it on my other computer
One question, Do you have the installation files (the contents of the CD) or are you trying to transfer the files from within an active system?
yeah sounds like he doesnt have the installation disk. The only way i can think of doing it is by making a ghost backup using Norton Ghost, burn it on disk and install it on your other pc.
It would be pretty messy after its installed because it would still have the registry and shit from the other pc and you will have to do a few things to get it running correctly.
I wouldnt do it.
Oh ok thanks.
