FatCat Mystery Recruitment :D

Well, I havent done one of these in a long time, and well its the holiday season, so lets bring it back old skool.

Some of you might remember how these work, some of you might not know and Im sure will enjoy. You should be able to figure out which site it is very quickly ;-) but let those who dont know...remain in the dark :P

The rules are simple:

1. Applications must have all the requirements in them to be considered.
2. If your account is not active as much as Id like, I will just disable it and pass the word along to other tracker staff about you not using your accounts.
3. If you get this to just sit on it or trade, I will notice very fast seeing how I am staff at this tracker. Any ip changes that arent consistent with dynamic ips will result in your nick being flagged globally as a trader and loss of all your torrent accounts.
4. If you ever post publicly about this tracker, you will lose your account at it. So no braggers/cocky users will be tolerated.
5. You can pm your application if youd like.

Simple rules to abide by, correct? Thought so.

Although I am the only one mainly posting this, about 6 other staff from this tracker will most likely swing by and say hi and maybe pick you as well. You will be notified via pm if you are selected. I could pick 1 person, I could pick 20...depends on my mood :P

There are 2 phases, this public phase, then the private phase via pm.

Requirements for application to be considered:

1. Your username and all aliases that you use for torrents.
2. Bio of yourself
3. Why you want to become a member of this tracker. (and dont say the community bc thats getting very old when someone goes "i hear the community is great") of course it is...its the oldest tracker around at the moment ;-).
4. Picture of something funny
5. Direct links to your profile at each of your private trackers.
6. Your favorite food.
7. A picture of your pet or a pet you want. (use tiny pic to post it)
8. A picture of what you think a angry german looks like. (no racist nazi stuff pls.)
9. A picture of an alien
10. A picture of your fantasy (keep it not XXX, children are on this site)
11. Your age.

About the tracker:
Its a tracker with one of the best reputations on the net, has scene stuff just as fast as scc/sct, has p2p encodes just as fast as the groups release them on tl/hdbits. Pretty much has it all. However it is mainly known for its unique community offerings that no other trackers have ;-) Numerous staff members of other trackers are extremely active members at it, irc is fairly active, and it is the oldest private tracker in existence.

If you really cant figure it out now, maybe you are in the wrong forum section guys :-P

Knowledgeable and interesting members are the number one reason. I've heard it's a tight-knit bunch who partake in interesting discussion of both bittorrent and non-bittorrent nature. I have many different interests and I'd be glad to share my knowledge with the community in forums. The clubs sound really neat and definitely something I would like to be a part of. I have heard that the irc is quite active also, and I would definitely like to be goofy and meet some new friends in there. This tracker is pretty low key, and after receiving several seize and desist letters, it would be reassuring to download from somewhere where I know I'm safe. I have uploaded in the past, and I'd be more than happy to upload some scene content to your tracker. Also, I have an extensive game and movie collection which contains many rare gems, and I'd be happy to fill requests and share what I have with others.

If you dont know who I am and dont know the tracker (even with all the clear hints that point at it)
Its a tracker with one of the best reputations on the net, has scene stuff just as fast as scc/sct, has p2p encodes just as fast as the groups release them on tl/hdbits. Pretty much has it all. I think I could already deduce from your previous thread that were at least, in some form, staff at some tracker. But no, I won't treat your posts differently from any other. If I don't like/agree with your opinions/posts, I'll say it. If I agree with your posts, I'll say it. Whether someone is a mod, tracker staff, veteran, noob, trader, cheater, whatever, I don't treat their posts differently. I express my own opinions, thank you very much. I don't find you special in the least bit, I'm sorry if that's in a stark contrast to what you're normally used to.

I have done these far before you were even a member here.

So dont go proclaiming some long winded paragraph about "tracker staff bla bla bla" bc to be honest, you are the new member here at fst, not me. Ive been here ...hmm I think 4-5 times longer then you.

I never said you couldn't post this giveaway here. It's perfectly within the rules to post a mystery giveaway here. I just don't agree with this manner of giveaway as an effective means of selecting prospective users. And as of such, I posted my opinion of it on this thread. Isn't that what forums are for? Expressing one's opinion?

But I guess since you ignored any of the points I made in my post, and immediately resorted to petty comebacks such as "I'm a much older member, noob", and "I was a member here before you" that you still believe that as a tracker staff of a completely different website, you are entitled to special treatment here.

As of such, I'll reiterate my point: Your post count, your status, how long you've been in this forum, how "leet" you are at other places, don't matter to me, and it shouldn't matter to others either. Anyone who thinks this is a valid interpretation of the "worth" of a member is the true "noob".

To me, you're just another user. And as of such, I'll post my opinion in response to your threads. You're free to contend the points that I make, but constantly referring to the fact that you should receive special treatment doesn't convince me of the contrary.

It's not about him figuring it out. It's about other members knowing what kind of tracker they're applying for, so a little more info regarding the content and tracker would have been better.(you didn't have to mention the name of the tracker)

You're doing a good thing here, but you gotta learn how to take criticism a little better if you want to be taken as a professional or seriously. That wasn't even criticism though, he was just pointing out what was missing from your post.

But I will say this, FSC is a great place. This reqruitment is strange, though. I'm guessing it really was made to weed out those who are just looking for a trophy (a few of the questions led me to believe that).

I just want an invite to a tracker where the staff aren't arrogant and twisted by a sense of their own self importance. The attitude in this thread is an embarrassment.

Are there any trackers with non-obnoxious staff? I will jump through hoops to apply for an invite to a tracker like that.
