Polish Tracker - Shame on you - from a former SCT member

I was a member of SCT for more than 3 years and I earned there a very good ratio , friends and reputation .
It was a very friendly community with a lot of good members and exceptional staff .
Happened what happened and SCT is gone now !
I was very glad to hear that Polish Tracker staff invited former SCT users to join right after SCT closed . Heard from friends that Polish Tracker is a good tracker , far behing what SCT was , but still good .
So , I went to their invite channel and got invited .
I really did my best to meet the 20G traffic rule during this month but since I tried to create a good ground (ratio) for the future , I downloaded more freeleech stuff in order to count my uploading as much as possible .
From this reason I was not able to meet the 20G rule even my traffic on their site was larger than 20G but because the freeleech , my download traffic was not counted .
So , today , one month after , I found my account disabled because the 20G rule . Tried to talk with PT admins through IRC , but nothing - they don't mind about SCT , they don't mind about freeleech of their site and they don't mind about their invitation of the former SCT members or about their reputation there . They don't give a f**k on nothing but on themselves .
I really don't understand why PT staff were so kind with the SCT former members if all that they want to do is to slap the SCT members on their face , otherwise I really don't understand why they are not flexible about this 20GB rule after one month of account use , especially considering the fact that they are not counting the freeleech stuff as traffic . So stupid !!!
So , I just want to say to PT's stuff that they do a very good job in offering an invite to former's SCT members and also they do a very good job to disable their accounts after just one month of use just because their stupidity .

I have never been a member of PT, but just because you were an ex-sct member doesnt make you exempt from the rules. Seems like maybe it should count freeleech stuff, but it may be a pain for them to code or maybe they just want it the way it is.

Just move on and join scc or TV or something.

From what I've been told, you weren't missing too much anyway.

It's their rule - and you didn't meet it. It's their site, and you accepted those rules when you joined it, if you didn't like that rule you didn't have to join the tracker.

I don't see anything wrong here. You didn't follow their rules, so you got disabled. Is that out of the ordinary?

And being a "3 year old" member of SCT where you have a "very good ratio, friends, and reputation" doesn't mean squat on a different tracker.

After reading the review I won't deny that, but PT didn't really "cut it" among our users. One of them didn't even use the invite he was given. :lol:

Of course, I have never been a member (neither I plan to), so I can't check it out myself. Since I'm not interested in Polish content, it'd appear they have nothing I can't get elsewhere, and I don't like collecting accounts.

Leaf G/G is similar to the one which begginer drivers have - on Polishtracker.org it means that such user is under the 30 day trial period. Anyway , my complain is not about their tracker quality but this 20G traffic rule .
As I see this rule , I have all the time to take care if I had or had not a 20G traffic during the month . What a shitty rule !!! Why a such rule is not implemented on other tracker ? Because all the other staff don't want to force anyone to use their trackers . We are all free to use what tracker we choose to .

I am also an ex-sct and joined PT after SCT went down, First of there's no where mentioned any where in their faq's and rules that freeleech traffic is not counted during calculation of your global ratio, secondly PT is a very good tracker although you can't compare it with SCT, but PT has something I like most its regular 0day packs are freeleech, you will not find this anywhere, at TTi only 0day Mp3 packs are free and even TL, TD, RTT charge traffic for both of Oday application and MP3 packs but at PT all you have to do is to download and seed back those torrents to 1:1 or 48 hours,

I agree they don't have several inhouse/internal releases in English but there are numerous internal releases in polish language.

Now lets see the 20G rule, I wonder an Ex-SCTier is feared of such a tiny amount, remember at SCT daily traffic of that tracker was in Several TBs and I think a full month is an enough time to get those 20Gs not a big deal even if you don't have a SB which I bet you have as you mentioned you are an ExSCtier.. as far as freeleech traffic not being counted towards global ratio is concerned I don't know where you have read it but I have been recommended from the staff themselves to pick a freebie to get started :wacko:

anyways every body has different perspective of looking and judging something but IMHO PT is a very good tracker.

They want 20 gb upload (not traffic) so, using free-leech or not makes no difference, on the contrast, using the free-leech can help very well in buffering the account, again, their role is for counted upload only.

There are such a rule in some trackers like hd-bits.ro.I think (as a rule) 20gb upload trafiic per month is not too much nowadays; I'm a former sct member and join pt like u and was able to pass 20gb upload credit by only one small pack in PT :ermm:

The 20 gigs rule is to keep the tracker active, I guess. It's also the reason I never joined. On all my trackers combined I prolly upload just about 20 gigs a month. It is for people with better connections or seedboxes. To each their own, I say.

Btw, OP, have you tried SCC?

There is nothing special at Polish Tracker . Many Polish related stuff and nothing attractive for a foreign user . SCC is incomparable better .
Their staff are probably afraid to lose their reputation of a few forums and included the 20giga rule in order to show artificially that they are a large traffic site .
They only care to make money from the SCT users migration to them and this is the only reason to let you join their site because they simply thought that all the SCT donations will go on their account .
PT "donors" are not asked to have a 20Gb traffic .
That was not a "kind" action as you mention but a simply financial move in order to make you pay to them .

Agreed with you! If you could be an user of ScT you won´t have problems to be on Polish Tracker.

It is exactelly the main problem . There is nothing else in this site that is not uploaded ( in many cases much faster ) on other 0-day trackers .
Why should I download 0day from PT for ratio if I have all this for free on GFT for example ?
Ahhh , right , I have to download it from PT , for ratio , because if not , I won't reach the 20G monthly traffic and my account will be disabled .

2) They're not going to change the way they run their site because they let in some ScT users and they can't cope with it. They were fine before you were there, they'll be fine after your gone.

I assume that when you register to a tracker you don't know what is the stuff you'll find there .
Once you find it , you cannot cancel the registration if you don't find something interesting in it . From this point of view the 20G traffic rule is something that is servicing the both sides . If you don't have interesting to share with us (PT) uploading or downloading , than we're not good enough to service you .
Without being a member there , I just wonder why this tracker is rated here as LVL6 which is a very high level if they don't have nothing special to offer . Rarity ? Quantity ? Quality ? Polishy ?

Then why exactly did you signup to PT? If you're not interested in polish content, and you can get all the other 0day content from GFT without having to worry about ratio... :blink:

That is not always like that .
Some "local" trackers just add their subtitles to the scene movies stuff . Such trackers are for example RomanianShareReactor , Torrentbits.ro , HD-Bits.ro which are very usable also for non-Romanians .
I think that for Poland and as I know for Hungary and Former Soviet Union trackers , the things are completely different . Since they dub their movies and not (only) add subtitles , the movies stuff on all those trackers cannot be used by a non-spoken of the local language .
There are also a plenty of international stuff on all those trackers but as mentioned , it depends of what the specific members was looking on this specific tracker .
For stuff related to movies or local music , it is really useless for a non-polish user if he already own an account on an other international tracker such GFT is .

PT is a great tracker,and when u signup to some site you agree to their rules so respect them.Hope some staff can get u back there but they want ppl that use accounts not just collectors.
