using the workaround described in the article, I was able to achieve a 640 x 480 res, 32bit color @ 75hz.
ATI Radeon 9000 pro.

yea thx.... i dont want the resolution for gaming or anything.....its just that the monitor works good on 640x480 and in 800x600 or higher its really bad...the screen is not flickery....just like isnt seen good....damn i cant write well right now lol.... it just looks awful....hard to read...
besides, the puter is for internet and office mostly :D

I could be wrong but from my observation.....It depends on the size of your monitor screen...15" you can have your resolution at 640x480 .... a 17" monitor the lowest you can go is 800x600.
its a 14" monitor...yes its a piece of sh1t....and its not my pc lol.... its my sisters...im just fixing it :D
