HD-bits.ro is a Romanian tracker, where 100% of the torrents are English torrents.
All of the torrents are High Definition Videos (Movies and TV Series), both 720p and 1080p.

Also, there is a Looseless music category, and a lot of music Video Clips.

The torrent descriptions, the comments, the menus, and the interface is in English.

# of members: 20000 (guess, one torrent has 15k snatches so it has at least that many, 20k is user limit)

pretime: 4 (decent but not good)
speed: 8 (fast, fast, but not exceptionally fast)
content: 4 (not too much content when compared to other HD trackers)
overall: 7 (A good tracker and well worth having but lacks content)


Invites: opens sometimes, invite only now but many invites in circulation.

Free leech: 331 torrents free but many are blu ray or hd-dvd, has bonus shop. Has had sitewide freeleech.

Ratio: easy. As always stupid/inexperienced torrenters can make this into hard for themselves :P


Notes: A decent HD site, content is a bit low for my liking and more dead than alive torrents is not very good.

Special note: 400gb up is not good enough to see the stats so I borrowed and guessed. Hopefully someone who can see the stats can correct them.

Updated, I put 5 for content, I will look to reorder the content ratings of all tv-movies sites like I did for the 0-day and it will be easier to rank them after.

The numbers have dropped quite a lot from what they used to be.

New Seeding Policy...for freeleech torrents.I'm sick and tired of all the leechers, not seeding their torrents, and even worse, saying they do but they don't, and they even have the nerve to complain about it, imagine that....So, from now on, each freeleech torrent should be seeded properly for at least 3 days uninterrupted, or least 1 week cumulated time in one month or untill you reach a 1/1 ratio and 24 hours total seeding time cumulated in one week on that torrent.Punishments for disobeying the policy are:

on the first offense - 8 weeks warning
on the second offense, account disabled.

This new policy was implemented to keep our torrents alive, as most of you don't care about seeding once you've reached a positive ratio, or even worse, you don't care at all and you keep on practicing your hit and run skills thinking that we don't know what you're doing...well, not anymore, not on my watch...i will set a few examples starting from today, and then we shall see who's respecting his account and deserves to own one here.This new policy DOESN'T apply to our current staff, ViP and donor members, however, it does for former ViP members, regardless.

Another Note: Like punishments for bad users, we will always award a few random prizes consisting of GB uploaded here and there to our good users.Just pm me with proofs once you've reached a 100 days individual seeding time on more than 100 torrents in total size bigger than 100 GB, and i'll add an amount of 500 GB upload credit to your account as bonus for your commitment to HD-Bits.

Bulgaria just got banned...we don't want to see our HDBRiSe releases posted on other sites without our approval, a lot of Bulgarian users are breaking that rule, so, in other words, Bulgaria has been baned from our site!

Btw I hear that they are thinking of changing the name of the tracker to Hypocrisy.ro.

Not anymore...however, since there is no point in arguing wich releases should be on your tracker and wich should be on ours, and since we all share information and we all have the same main goals in the p2p world, take that announcement as non valid, you are all welcomed to join.

Sorry for double posting...it's not hypocrisy, hypocrisy occurs when you find yourself baned from a certain bulgarian hd tracker, apparently for no reason, and their admin isn't able to tell you straight why."You know what you did" isn't a proper reason, it's just an assumption.Therefore, i may assume a ton of other things, but in the end i let it all go.Because, at the end of the day i realise that there's no point in arguing, it gets you nowhere.btw, your sarcasm sounds vengeful as always. :)

Sarcasm has a tendency to do that. Anyway hypocrisy is also thinking that you have a right to steal something and then getting all indignant when someone else just does the same. But I think my first post already said that.
The thing about being a thief is that you basically lose the moral high ground to speak negatively about theft.

The thing about hypocrisy is that it's a byproduct of the ego, therefore rampant, and very little incentive exists to curtail it.

Due to the low interest in the diversity of materials, for now only 2012/2013 x264 encodes and complete blurays/remuxes will be added daily, when available, also internal encodes when available, these will hold the highest priority.There will be no more TV shows, flac music, music videos or whatever.However, you can request something to be uploaded at any time, but once it's uploaded, keeping that torrent alive it is entirely your responsability.Requests coming from users with hit and runs will be ignored.Torrents with no interest will be deleted after a while, usually 3 days or more (or less, depends) to make room for new stuff.The daily uploaded amount of torrents and the diversity of materials depends entirely on our users, if nobody cares to download and seed properly (at least 30 snatches and 10-15 seeders per torrent) then don't expect us to deliver a lot of daily uploads either.However, feel free to let us know what kind of torrents do you want to see uploaded on the site on the daily basis, torrents you would like to download and SEED regulary, torrents that won't die.
