can someone who has watched the movie in theater or the non-workprint version plz tell, was the fight scene with crazy 88 is really black and white or is it just so in workprint......bcz if it is only b&w in workprint then i think i have to download other version also....bcz i want to see all the blood ;)
only some was black n whit not all
ya ,in work print it was b&w up to the point when someone turns off the lights...upto that point???....and thanx for such a fast reply....

you probably need to wait for the dvd to come out to see that scene in color.

thanx a lot man....but i personally think that scene will be lot better in color with all the blood gushing around....

i'm sure you know tarantino's movies essentially copy things from old 60s & 70s movies and put it all together in a fresh way... so they're trying to imitate the "low budget" feeling of 1970s kung fu movies, by using an intentionally clumsy edit (the beeping).Quote:

one thign Tarintino didnt do in this movie was have them took about bullshit for 30 minutes just what really happens in real life or say f*ck or N***er every second word
Tarintino Film's harken back to the days of 70's expoitation films-where as he has a very good way of taking the best parts a making them fresh.I would'nt label him a "genius" filmaker.but he has a very great ability to write snappy dialogue. Kill bill was'nt his best work- Pulp Fiction was in my opinion, I think he tried a little to hard to be "fresh and flashy", and what's up with the animation part??? Did'nt think it enhanched the story or plot line one bit.
You have to have an appreciation for anime to actually enjoy the animation part... I thought it was very well done but some who havent watched much anime will find it rather unentertaining.
I personally thought it was his best movie to date, second imo would be pulp fiction but then again im much more into the japanese culture and sword fighting aspect than i was to the drug and gun aspect of his prior movies, all a matter of taste I think.
Nah man, the anime was amazing imo. Best part of the film.

that scene was filmed in black and white. if you go look at the behind the scene pictures the blood that is spraying all over is really black or blue. that scene won't be in color anywhere/time.
