how can i found out my ip address and the ip address of others

to find your public IP address, just go to http://www.whatismyip.com

for others....it just depends..

for your own, control panel > network connections > double click your connection type then click the 'support' tab

open dos and type ipconfig

unless you're on a LAN, your IP address listed in IP config will be the same as you would get from whatismyip.

why visit a site (which may be compromised, contain spyware, be used for commercial purpose etc) when you can get the same info (and more), without any risk?

I&#39;ll give you a hint on how to find out someone else&#39;s ip....um on second thought, no I won&#39;t. Although it is pretty easy, especially if you are using a p2p program.
